My wife has a meadow garden thing going on in the backyard, mostly to attract butterflies. It worked spectacularly well for that last year – we had a whole ecosystem going on back there, with the butterflies attracting dragonflies, and frogs trying to get in on the action too. She’s doing some planting now in preparation for next year. (Don’t ask me what. I try to stay out of gardening business as much as I can manage.)

It’s definitely a juggling act for the DM to present worthy challenges for tier 4. There are 7 of us in my group too, so 6 players can get rough. But, barring a TPK or some other extraordinary event, all of our campaigns generally go to level 20. We all as DMs feel like we owe it to each other to let people see their characters reach the height of their power.
My friend Todd and myself worked out a system that helps for when we DM. We basically give our bigger baddies extra legendary actions to close the action economy gap with having that many players, multipliers to their HP totals, and on BIG bads, we throw in some extra legendary resistances to boot. And minions are much more a necessity.
And don’t shy away from throwing out seemingly insurmountable problems/obstacles. The PCs will nearly always come up with a clever solution/resource you hadn’t thought of, and/or know where to find one.
Still; It’s a balancing act.
