It isâŚfor different reasons. First off, the fact that Goblin made catapults or Forsaken ones somehow reached Teldrassil across a distance that takes a gryphon several minutes to fly across, secondly that they even lit a seawater soaked tree of that size on fire at all where they struck.
Golf is a snooze fest.

In my head-canon, there was an unfortunate accident involving Nomi, a pizza oven, and a bacon pizza ordered by Malfurion that happened to occur at the same time the orders to fire were given. The flaming projectiles, as everyone expected, fell far short of their mark, but lo and behold, the tree burst into flames anyhow. So Nathanos fibbed and told everyone that the flaming projectiles struck home, and everyone just went along with it.
