This makes me think of the 40k Ork Deff Koptas. Lovely Units, the Deff Koptas. They mulched a lot of Space Marines for me.

Almost Friday. So glad the three days of grey and rain are over and we are down to the low 30’s. Proper temps for this time of year.
Got the underkeep storied achiev. last night, finally. That last boss fight was such a slog, died once but we got through it.
So tired. Really need the coffee this morning.

I liked it for a while on Tabletop Simulator (where you basically get the entire army’s kit) but I stopped messing with official formats because of the sequencing letting some armies dominate others. It’s no fun to watch your own army evaporate for an hour (2k point games) and then be left with little more than paltry scraps, and it’s a very boring way to win them too. I turned to homebrew sequencing and it made things a lot more fun, even if there were a few issues to work out. I played a lot of Orkz back in Ninth, with Goffs and Bad Moons being my favorites. What factions do you like to play?

Just get a ton of de boi’z an you can make them wait an hour with your bucket of dice.
And tbh most faction wise I like are imperial guard and death guard.

ah. warhammer 40k, eh? i’ve only ever played the video games. mechanicus, inquisitor, total war:warhammer 3, boltgun, space marine (on my 360)…
i’ve always been a fan of fantasy though. i always saw it as the ‘peak’ fantasy setting. the kind of setting where you go in as just some shmuck, and walk out of it covered in magical, mystical weapons, armor, and other cool loot. …basically what skyrim was, but before skyrim was a thing. of course, i’m saying this as someone who enjoyed chaos in warhammer… before GW decided they won the whole setting, and ruined it/them.
but all that aside, i think if i ever played 40k, i’d play either emperor’s children, world eaters, or death-guard. don’t care for tzeentch… too hard to understand. the others i like though. …maybe i’d play space wolves, dark angels, or white-scars, if i went loyalist. maybe knights. and for xenos, it’d be votann. or genestealers.
