Yeah that’ll do it, though I don’t often have apple sauce since I really only eat it when it’s homemade.
I also find that even if it’s common advice, a lot of people don’t let meat sit long enough after cooking it. They leave it on the heat until it’s completely done which can dry it out.

I also always let my steak come to room temperature and pat it dry before searing as well.

i went to store to buy some flavored black cherry wine…set down my wet dog food for gus and iced tea. knocked over glass bottle and shattered it…left without buying the wine in embarrasement. maybe its a sign. also purchased some whole milk. gonna have lake perch tonight.

pork chops are cheap and easy 
Salt and pepper, sear on both sides in a skillet, finish in a 400 degree oven for 10-15 minutes

I actually had chicken wings tonight. Some hot, some salt & pepper.
I’d like to have beef more often but even when I can afford it I have this reaction of “it costs how much for a steak!?”.
I live in the place that’s the biggest producer of beef in Canada. It shouldn’t be allowed to overcharge me for a steak.
