Cooked alcohol comes out really weak, because alcohol burns off as a gas. You can put bourbon whisky on a meat or steak and it’s just gonna sear off if you didn’t marinate it for at least an hour.
Yeah but it leaves the flavor like beer batter pancakes.

It depends on the sugar and the base. Hops are heavy base. They flavor everything.
