I never understand why Americans think Australia is unique in having dangerous animals when in America you have:
Grizzly Bears
Black Bears
Poisonous snakes (Rattlers anyone 
)
Rabid Squirrels and other rabid animals
Wolves
Coyotes
Alligators
Killer Bees
Sharks
Fire Ants
And on top of that: Alien Abductions
