My guess is based on the gold island incident with the vulpera in vol’dun… they are VERY familiar with cursed treasure and didn’t bat an eye to hear the treasure was cursed. They probably have learned shadow magics by dispelling cursed treasures. The zandalari however didn’t faire too well against the same cursed treasure clearly lol.
I think Zandalari should be warlocks simply for the fact that transmog would look amazing on them.
I too am very angry at this notion!
Honestly Zandalari having no connection to fel is a terrible excuse. Any race that has mages should be able to become warlocks, main reason is Warlocks are just mages that sought more power. Warlocks are all outcasts and if the game followed lore we would rarely see any warlocks being played because they are so rare.
Zandalari also have demoniacs in their lore but I think blizz retconned that lore so idk about that one anymore.
I’m just happy that there’s another race I can use as Warlocks.
says lilbunny, a pink haired gnome.
I would gladly trade you warlocks for a Vulpera druid.
Its a balance thing. Every race should be able to be every class from a true player autonomy perspective. Maybe my Pandaren went and learned to be a warlock or maybe my Vulpera went to learn how to become a druid. In the truest sense, there is no good reason why an entire race of people can’t have access to all classes. Maybe you can make a case for Illidari but even then.
We need non-elves as Demon Hunters. I found the class fun but I do not like elves at all. Gnome and Vulpera Demon Hunters would be a win.
