Of all the Horde races Vulpera lack the most lore/story. They need more love!
Well, we did learn that their children kill each other.
Yeah let’s do it!
Hunted to near extinction by the Houndpera centuries ago, they settled in a region nobody on the planet wants to even travel through let alone live in, and have stood around in small caravans selling cheese to travelers ever since.
Deeeep vibrant lore.
Wut?
Citation, please?
I wonder if that was scrubbed from WoWpedia. I recall it being in the the Fairy Tales book.
Perhaps I can create more story for them by burning down their homes. Is that acceptable?
It’s in the new Folk and Fairy Tales of Azeroth book. Probably the darkest story in there, surprisingly enough. It starts out light enough, but as you read on…well, I’d say go check it out for yourself. It’s a twist
Ah, yes I remember that short story. It’s a bit difficult to reconcile the murderous act of one crazed individual with the supposition that a specific race’s children tend to be violent toward one another. I realize of course that you were trying to be funny…I think.
What home? The 7th Legion beat you to it.
Though, I might appreciate the opportunity to sit in a burning house, and say “This is fine.”
No, I don’t think that’s funny at all. Wowpedia did once say that Vulpera children killed each other. I never actually read the story at all. If it’s not true, then I’m actually glad.
The thing to keep in mind about Wiki sites is that the articles within them are written by anyone that wants to contribute. This often leads to conjecture stated as fact, which is just as often corrected by the Wiki site moderators. I’m not saying what you read is therefor untrue…only that it might have been removed because it hasn’t been solidly confirmed.
shrug
And, in my opinion, a really strange one at that. Though I really enjoy playing (and role-playing) a Vulpera, that was my least liked story in the book. It seemed an almost pointless fairy tale, and it just doesn’t make sense that a race’s spiritual ancestors would make their brethren spend so much of their time randomly trekking through the wilderness to find just the right place to rest their remains. It just seems…weird. I and several other RP’rs I know don’t treat that story as canon.
shrugs again
They lack story? They have an entire backstory through Starfox.
It certainly helps.
Once upon a time a Vulpera fell into a bubbling cauldron and became stew.
The End
So, you are into vore?
Vulpera needed to be a neutral race but at this point I am of the mind that any race should be able to choose it’s faction. Held back by race capital cities I suppose.
What about pandaren?
What’s that?
Deeeeeeeelicious!
Write one.
