Or maybe the ones that roll female DHs aren’t jerks so the event doesn’t get added to the list.
They could aye, Vulpera as the newest are just the current popular one to hate on the most right now.
Also possibly some joining the bandwagon because a race they would have preferred didn’t happen (gilgoblins, ogres, sethrak, what have you) and feel to blame the Vulpera for ‘taking the slot’
There also seems to be a ‘excuse away’ some of the races mentioned due to mythological connections, Taurens are not ‘furry’ because they are ‘Minotaurs’, Worgen are not ‘furry’ because they are ‘Werewolves’, whereas Pandaren and Vulpera are more hated on because they don’t have a mythological thing to attach to (this excusing away mostly seem by posters playing those races that join the bandwagon of hating on a race because it has fur, to explain the idiosyncrasy when questioned)
Makes sense to me. The furry thing isn’t really my bag, but I think there’s not much moral high ground in kink-shaming consenting adults. So, even if the players were furries - so what?
I feel just hating a race because they have fur is just dumb.
I don’t hate them, I just love to punt them! /punts a vulpera.
Vulpera = rat.
And Draenei = goat. What’s your zoologically inaccurate point?
You mean the majority of vulpera players?
Goats are used for many things, they are productive. Rats? Also draenei and lightforged draenei girls are THICC.
It’s with like most anything. Ppl have things they like and dislike. Some are just overly passionate about certain things - like fox shaped pixels. /shrug
I don’t get it, they’re cute to me. But then, I’m a hunter, and you know we are always on the lookout for something new to tame!!
I like Vulpera because they remind me of shirley the medium from courage the cowardly dog.
That’s about it.
I mean, as a male human paladin I probably wouldn’t be stereotyping others.
Mostly because this community just can’t stop itself from tearing itself apart.
Especially when you’re talking about the forums, where people can’t separate their hatred of other posters/the real world from a race of fantasy video game characters.
Because my race/class makes a whole race who wanted furries identify as them? I’m confused.
You also like people that go to conventions and dress up in furry suits? That also do the dirty in those suits?
Furries are weirdos. But to reiterate and quote a previous poster…
Frankly, I’m not at all surprised. I’ll spell it out for you: you’re stereotyping players who play a certain race yet you play a race/class combination that is also frequently stereotyped. Not all male human paladin players are a meme and not all vulpera players are furries.
Because they have flooded servers and bring nothing useful with them.
Have you drowned in a sea of uWu? Well, it’s not fun and completely goes against Horde aesthetics.
That’s why I said majority, not all.
Vulpera were a perfectly good race until the furies latched on to them.
Now they can burn.
