Hm. Sunwalking Vulpera, you say...

That is currently the dream of many of us, though we have very little to back it up.

I was initially lukewarm on vulpera as a playable race, but now, they seem kinda cool.

I can't wait to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with both them and our Dark Lady in solidarity as we fight our enemies.

FOR THE HORDE!

Amazing things can some times come in small packages :)

I think its part of what makes the Horde so great is just how diverse they are as a faction, all of them having different goals and personalities. Its a real mixing pot of cultures where as the Alliance has a more unified mindset. Yeah, there are different cultures, but the expression of different cultures are kept much more separated. It does not really feel like a mixing pot of culture but instead an understanding out of necessity.

Perhaps that's just how I read it personally. I have a gut feeling that the Tauren and Vulpera will get along very well considering how much they have in common, such as both of them being a Nomadic people(though the Tauren not as much ever since the end of WC3)

The Vulpera do seem to share some features of the Tauren and will probably get along well with them. Although I don't really expect them to get along badly with any of the horde races... Except, ironically enough, the goblins.

Goblins may seem to have a superficial similarity to the Vulpera as short stature traders, but there are two key differences I expect to be major sticking points.

The first is how the races approach trade. Vulpera are scavengers, and appear to see trade as something that can benefit both parties for a net gain. They collect anything they can, not out of greed, but as a form of insurance.

Goblins on the other hand view trade as a zero sum game. They are in it entirely for profit and will lie, cheat and steal to get the upper hand. I don't expect the vulpera to view this strategy very kindly.

The second thing I expect to be a problem is goblin recklessness. Goblins are huge risk takers with both their own lives and the lives of those around them. The Vulpera are survivors and I don't see them voluntarily spending time with any company that would accidentally get them killed

On the Contrary. Gallywix is the most likely ambassador to recruit the Vulpera, that is if the trend continues, where one ambassador recruits one allied race. Perhaps Ji Firepaw, but for some reason I find Gallywix more likely to be the ones recruiting the Vulpera, despite his line that makes him seem like he doesn't care about allies.
Your theory hold water, I'm just speculating myself. But I feel like if any horde character were to recruit the vulpera it would have to be one who understands what it means to live through slavery. And that would be an orc. Thrall returns, maybe?
I really hope they do make those races playable, although, somehow I feel like Vulpera would go to the Alliance. I feel like Blizz would do the same swap with these models as they did with Nightborne and Void Elves (seeing as how Vulpera are goblin model and Sethrak are Worgen model). Also, the Alliance wouldn’t condone the enslavement of a race and hence take in the Sethrak. I know that goes against the current speculation, but it makes more sense to me. Plus, I believe Alliance players would complain if Horde got the cute little foxes and they got the mean old snakes.

Yet most of the ARs have been unlocked via rep and Horde are they only ones who can access Vulpera's rep.

Also in an interview one of the devs stated that they didn't want the Alliance to only have cute races and only the Horde to have ugly mean races. That they wanted to blur the lines of the Ascetics of the factions, so the argument of the Alliance should get them just because they're cute only furthers the speculation that they will be Horde.
We have enough furry races to go around.

No you're right Goblins were originally slaves if irc. It was mining the kajamite and absorbing it that gave them intelligence. Once they were mentally awake they rebelled.

Then again, Goblins don't have a problem with slavery themselves. Anyone remember the Trolls in the Kajamite mines at the beginning of their starting area?

That's by the way possibly the biggest problem I have with Vulpera joining the Horde, because slavery is still either actively practiced, or at least condoned in most of their societies (all but Tauren, Pandaren and I think Blood Elves). Wouldn't that leave a bad taste when they just have been freed from their own shackles?

No.
But which dance animation should they have tho? I'd say caramelldansen
Posts like this are why people find furries to be endlessly creepy.

Even beyond the whole 'I want to sex animals' thing.

I doubt they'll get that, caramelldansen is already the female pandaren dance.

Posts like what? A thread asking for an allied race that happens to be based on an animal? That's a huge chunk of WoW lore; Worgen, Pandaren, Tauren.....

Also furries are harmless. I've actually found them to be one of the less toxic fandoms on the internet, at least in terms of overall demeanor. What they choose to do with their fetishes in the privacy of their own homes and communities is none of my business.

I'm not sure why you must immediately relate furries and a race on an online game to zoophiles but hey. Gotta hate somehow I suppose.

What did the foxbois ever do to you? They're cute af

Nope!

In fact, sethraks on ally are something that would bring another face to the blue faction!
Vulperas will be in close contact with the horde, being more than certain to enter the Horde, if put in the game!
I personally would like Vulperas in the Horde and Sethraks on Ally!

A bunch of tiny critters rolling furiously into battle with their toothpick swords out and lollipop sized staves is going to be an amazing sight to behold
Got bored and decided to make an an xmog for each armor class for these little fuzzballs.

Hi guys, just the usual reminder of how awesome Vulpera druids would be if:

>Scorpion tank
>Hyena feral
>Vulture flight form
>Cactus tree form
>[No idea] Aquatic form

...Think about it!!!
