Agreed I’d probably be playing more since I’d have a goal that pikes my interest.
Indeed!
Even if 8.1.5 is unlikely to have a lot of info on future allied races, we can hope it contains some datamined goodies. Things like updates on the datafiles, more customization added, icons for armor or weapons and other stuff that can show on what Blizzard is working.
ALso, I’m really hoping we see updates to other allied races. Like more faces to kul tiran males (they only have 2!) and some improvements on the preorder ones, hopefully.
Well, here’s the thing…they’d have to make it somewhat known through 8.1 what the AR is going to be…they’ve been doing that with each patch, a few months before they’re released, we already know what they’re going to be. Granted we don’t know what classes, racials and such we will get with them, but we at least KNOW what they are.
Vulpera are already a shoe-in with seeing their reactions to the result of the new raid, so their joining is more or less imminent. However, for the alliance, we will need to have some kind of light shone on what our counterpart will be. If it’s the sethrak, then we’re going to be needing to see storyline building them up with the alliance.
Junkergnome coming in 8.2 would need a patch to build them up and then another half patch until they’re released, if Blizzard keeps this snail pace they’re going. At least this is my take on it, what Blizz ultimately does, who knows~ but it’d be nice if they at least kept a focus for one patch to build them up and then an event or two for them to be released a little later in the following patch. (exception ofc are the dwarves and orc that were kind of the AR to boost off the expansion with)
Right now, without proper motivations, I’m probably going to quit until next batch of races come around. Right after getting AotC with the guild.
I honestly would if I could…but I’m a key part on my raid team to just…up and leave, times like this I wish I wasn’t so dedicated to it xD; and not feel guilty over such trivial things <.<;
I’m thinking of doing the same thing. Plan on unlocking the BElf Heritage armor with my Demon Hunter then take a nice long break until 8.1.5 when I can finally roll my Zandalari Paladin
It’s what i’m doing. I dont plan on returning until Vulpera and Worgen/Goblin models so like 8.2.5 xD
I am still keeping in touch with everything wow related to check up on anything that might bring me back early though.
So happy no playable vulpera and wish there would never again be a new animal race
So happy
It’s a shame (not really) you’ll inevitably rage when we get Vulpera, of which just need to be announced first and have too much evidence not to be added. There’s no reason for NPCs to have so many unique animations, and no others do at the moment like Vulpera. I want to see it when you do since you make it your goal to be rude on this thread.
As for me, I’m not quitting anytime soon myself. It’ll be nice to see people join again when this race is added though.
Gotta love the report for trolling button.
It’s the best button!
With 8.1 out and 8.1.5 on the horizon, hopefully Blizz can start talking about the next set of ARs and we’ll finally get our confirmation
Amém!!!
An announcement of the upcoming allied races would bring more excitement to the game at this point!
All I really care about anymore is the idea of playing the Vulpera char I made in the dressing room. I think I would go hunter on him. I also really think the Alliance needs something equally cool to make more people WANT to be Alliance and even out the odds a little. Sethrak would be the best choice, imo. They are depicted as noble creatures of virtue so I think they would fit the Alliance. Honestly, I don’t care who goes to what faction because I will play both. I just want them implemented asap!
You guys think that anyone who doesn’t want vulpera is trolling.
I think the same!
What’s more, with the weak 8.1 that was handed to us, the devs should do something to encourage interest in the game and try to regain the appreciation of as many players as they can !!
This is also important!
If the allied races that are in the alliance are just other generic races, that have no appeal or empathy, vulperas will be the end!
Many make jokes with junkgnomes in ally, but if that cyborgs gnomes are paired with vulperas, it will be a disaster for the alliance in terms of faction appreciation!
Its fine if you don’t want Vulpera, but you don’t have to be rude to the whole Vulpera community. Is it so wrong for others to want Vulpera? Is it so wrong for other people to enjoy the things they like? Get out of the megathread if you have no desire to discuss things about this race in a polite manner.
I agree. The Alliance needs some love. They need to do this sooner than later. I think Vulpera / Sethrak are even more sought after at this point than the Zandalari / Kul Tirans. It would be huge for the state of the game. If they were to make new unique classes for them, that would be even better, and get people to level them up (aside from the desire to get race armor). I am cool with them being in game without new classes too but I do think it would be AWESOME for Sethrak to be able to be skycallers and whatnot like the NPCs. Maybe make Vulpera do something that incorporates the “fury of the sands”? Even if they’re just racial abilities. Just saying.
No, but you’re a troll. Seeing you on multiple threads trolling.
just anyone who goes about it the way that you do, in such a negative fashion: is trolling.
There’s a major difference between not wanting them…and just being prejudiced and judgemental about it. We get it, you don’t want them. But calling people who want them “specific labels” is what makes you a troll. When asked to show your proof of what you claim to be truth, you fail to bring any sort to light.
If it was said in an interview, find it, show us, then we’ll believe you. Simple enough. Until then, everyone will see you as a troll with the kind of attitude you bring and the threads you make specifically targeting just one AR.
That’s the same line as being racist, in a sense.
