I didn’t enjoy s3, tried to watch that other show and noped out after the first episode. Probably going to pass on s4.

These 2 Critical Role shows are proof WoW can become an animated TV show.

still excited for the last 2 eps of the season
9 down, three to go. It’s interesting to see the changes made from the campaign. Obviously the above table stuff, like the t-shirts and flask gags, are going to be cut out. Wayne Brady is having a blast as Tary. Very different from how Sam played him but a lot more fun. Glad to see Robbie reprise his role of Cerkonos from C3 the Nic Cage Halloween episode and Tom Cardy from the two Australia live shows as the Dark Bard. I feel there’s a pun about casting a man from the land down under as a Drow.
Speaking of VA’s Andy Serkis joined the cast. We had Merry in season one, Pippin in season 2, and now Gollum. One season left, can we get Frodo and Sam?
Calling the BBEG The Whispered One instead of Vecna bothered me at first but seeing how much damage WotC did to the D&D brand and how Stranger Things fumbled Vecna, I’m glad they changed it.
Speaking of Sam, A Bard’s Lament. I never liked that speech. The amount of deflection and attachment avoidance Scanlan did only for him to lash out at VM like that? Hypocrite doesn’t quite describe it. Kaylie was right to call him out but in typical Scanlan fashion, he ignores the advice. Second worst character in the show after the ninja looting huntard, Vex. For context, her player blames game mechanics for her pet not matching her level after she chose to cross class spec. In the show, Scanlan got the killing blow on the dragon and she complains about what loot he got from the hoard. 100% vintage ninja looter behavior.
As for the other episodes, this is the advantage to building out the world after the original campaign. It makes sense for that C3 member to be there in that episode. Two other C3 cameo’s are blink and you miss them. Curious to see if they announce C3 or Calamity in production before Season 5 airs.
Overall, I’m liking it a lot and very curious how the season will end.
