yeah I get it I’m just saying people might be inclined to automatically vote for the selection that is/was first, that being the tree mount. seems like blizzard wanted it to win.

That seems kind of an odd way to think about it. I would think that if someone is taking the time to vote they would vote for the one that they want.

I’m fine with the mount not flying because they are giving it to us during the grounded period. If it was ground-only and released after flying in SL unlocked, it would feel like it was snark.

IF ANYTHING…it gets horde players riled up and excited. None of the other mounts do that. I go back to my first statement, it was set up.
I don’t mean to be root, but this is about as exciting as a can o’peas. I’ll try not to arbour any resentment, though. I’ll just leaf the tree lovers to their giant, sappy mount that doesn’t fit in any doorway, no matter how low it boughs. Eventually I’m sure I’ll foliage-ust to this result. But I don’t know, so many votes under the tree seems somewhat shady if you ask me.

Imagine voting for a mount that has zero chance of being used for flying, and subsequently making the devs feel justified for taking flying away for the first year of every expansion.

Is it wrong to hope the /mountspecial involves the tree igniting and then dumping a bucket of water over its own head?
for half the expansion you wont be able to fly to itll be very useful even if it cant fly.

Blizz, you should consider developing the caterpillar anyway and make it the next secret mount, requiring players to find fruits and snacks all across the world and deliver them to a hungry boy, in a manner that follows “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
