A Ret played well is definitely top 3. Most Rets are terrible in PvP though.
And yeah, Iâm seeing so many people running around in PvE gear (even better the ones who run with 6pc T3) with no stam then acting confused when they get bursted down.

Tons of specs can remove roots/slows and/or have gap closers. Hunter is 1 dimensional with a couple overtuned damaging abilities but has notable weaknesses and if killshot was fixed would be quite mid.

Why wouldnât you trinket rep when like you just mentioned we have access to faps and laps. Why should I wait for a pally to jog up to me while setting up seal+horn to nearly get 1 shot. You must trinket hoj when youâre at low health after I get my burst opener!!
Trinket Repent⌠and have that Lap ready for Hoj. Iâm not going to tell you how a hunter should be played. I know for a fact that SOD hunters are top tier but just like 80% of paladins are bad, there are a lot of hunters that simply backpeddle and have no idea how to use their traps correctly.

Yes i can see it being good if i can stay in back line un touched, but thats rare, mist are not going to let shamans just free cast in the back line
It really is a niche spell. Ark was getting global by a shaman that was running out of the gurubashi arena dueling his friend and getting stacks to jump back in the arena and duel Ark. lol
No way in hell is someone getting enough stacks for it to really matter in a 1v1 or bgs. I cant remember if it persists through death.
Its also not hitting for 12k in PvP like he claims.

You also lose the stacks if you die.
either way , most arent gonna have the stacks in normal 1v1 content or even multiple people combat due to the length of time to get full stacks and the caveat of not getting hit without some serious setup beforehand.
thus its not a 1 shot and more of a 20+ shot that takes at least 20 globals and is a niche thing.
in most serious pvp its not a thing and is pointless to even really go much into it .
pally burst that is about the same damage if not more, can be done in the span of 1-2 globals and way more reliably.
so pointing out the other when not realizing that you have the same if not better in 1/20th of the time is kinda silly.
