I thought I saw someone mention in either this thread the other day or another thread that they had a spot against the wall that they didn’t have to move from at all but maybe not.
This is a spot I found where he can’t throw you or leap on you when I was testing mechanics at a lower difficulty. It’s around the corner to the left when you’re facing where he starts. I’m not sure it would work in an 8 between madness’s and burning bridge though. Some classes may be able to stand perfectly still in the spot long enough.
Although if the orange text post above about using an ability before hitting the ground works, a DH would just have to hit spacebar when they get thrown to not be drained if I read that right, which would make DH even better at visions than they already were. I’m not sure how it would work for guardian or feral druids. I don’t know that their charge would work for it. It might need a moonkin/travel form charge jump. I’ll have to try that tomorrow.
edit: I tested that method, glide doesn’t work and you only have a split second to do something before you hit the ground so I don’t think it’s a reliable way to save yourself from it even if you have an ability that works.
