Yeah the purple eyes made little sense to me as well. I thought the gold eyes were a unique enough flavor seeing as they are infused with the sunwell now in some cases. Red though I think is still a stretch. Blizzard has hinted at us getting San’layn in some form down the road already.
I am definitely not.
I disagree with that. I didn’t think they needed any such thing. They only did it because of a small percentage of the players cried for it.
So hell. If that’s what it takes, a small percentage is going to cry about this too.
I’m not above it.
But don’t misunderstand me. While I’m an advocate for High Elves, truth is I would of rather gotten nothing as opposed to what we did get.
Not Void elves themselves, mind you but HOW they were implemented.
I think it would of made far more sense if it was an actual group of High Elves still loyal to Alleria, say like all of those who followed her through the Dark Portal and were lost to the void and Alleria had to venture into the Void to rescue them.
But no. We had to be Blood Elves FIRST. Not a Direct offshoot of High Elves but Blood Elf defectors who were just incompetent mages who had to be saved from our own hubris.
But I want to be the other thing!
Well, go pick the other thing at the character select screen.
But I want to be the other thing that doesn’t exist in the game!
TOO BAD!
Why do star children fight among themselves ?gg.
We get it from our Troll ancestors.
I must agree totally. Leave hair colors/styles for each “race” alone.
If bliz wanted belf’s look alike on the alliance, they would simply make peace between alliance/horde and do away with the whole fraction thing. But that’s a whole new discussion totally.
And Pandaren are the exact same race as Pandaren, the difference is a philosophical one, not a ethnic one.
There is no reason the Alliance couldn’t have just gotten high elves, aside from the Devs being deathly allergic to actually giving the Alliance anything it wants.
I’ll tell you what. If you give us Blood Elf hair styles, we’ll gladly take non-blood elf faces.
I want Drow. Real, freaking, Drow. Like Pandas, able to join either faction. And don’t try to say that one of these existing versions of the race are, because we all know they aren’t.
Before the trolls there we an elf like race no one to this day as even mentioned and where they are nor what happen to them. The only thin I’ve seen to change nothing else.
Oh, those are some fighting words over on the Lore Forum. That’s down right Heresy.
Heresy? not really. Tell me more of what i said wrongly.
White/grey/black hair should be an option for every single race. All of my characters have grey or white hair, and not being able to put that on Velfs is just a letdown.
The implication that Trolls were not the First race.
Technically, you were only half-right. The Race that predated what we think of as trolls were still trolls but more similar to the Dark Trolls.
Nah. Void elves deserve all the same color options as blood elves. They all originate from the same source so there is no reason why they should have different colors of hair.
Keep the styles separate if you want I’m fine with that, but colors aren’t a big deal.
Magic changes everything it touches we are all affect by Azeroth when she changes we do also. As for colors there is no difference in dark of night and light of day they are the same even at polar opposites. Should the void elves and blood elves have the same they could but we wouldn’t know the difference in an act of war who is your enemy.
Look for the bright red letters above their character. You’ll know
Uniforms and banners distinguish sides in War. Not every human, elf, orc, Tauren are alliance and horde either.
Critical thinking, and reading comprehension are dead in this country.
personally i dont want any new races. we already have too many races. you can only tell so many stories at a time. thats why people get upset when so and so race get barely any screen time and you want to throw more into the mix
youre not every single race tho are you? youre the only void touched race in the game. its not an accident you lack these colors. the hair that sprouts out of a void elf reflects whats under the skin. normal hair colors for void elves defeats the entire justification for them existing as an allied race
because they are a race added to the game already and defected from your faction. thats why when wow launched they werent a core alliance race. they werent apart of it. and before you go off on your delusion about im wrong, its canonical that there are a few individuals that have assimilated but they are an extremely rare sight and treated coldly. and there are only a few, no army or population behind them confirmed as recently as 2018 when development said “theres a couple, sure allerias back, but theyre not out there in the same way”
