Void Elves: You are VOID, not blood

I want black and white hair for my void elf. The reason has nothing to do with lore. The current hair colors are tinged green on the grey colors. Their hair clashes with xmogs. Nightborne have black hair and so do night elves. Nightborne have white hair and so do night elves. Personally, I want a blue skin white haired void elf. Why? The shoulder pads look way too big on nightborne and night elves. I want that neriak style. Ty.

Void elves have tentacles and turn blue all the time, no one is mistaking that for a blood elf.

Fair enough but the point I was trying to make is, how do you justify putting in a race that looks exactly the same as blood elves on alliance side? After all these years?

It could’ve been different had they just added the respective faction of elves to horde and alliance around the time it made sense lore wise but how does it now? And if people wanna play a belf so bad, why don’t they?

Yo, we were BLOOD ELVES AND HIGH ELVES before…so racially…we are the same!

Yea it actually doesn’t make much sense they don’t give you black and white hair when void is the absence of matter and black and white are the absence of color. It would make sense

Nightborne updates before any elf gets anything.

No. How do they justify adding Blood Elves to Horde after years of them being an Alliance Race? Just arbitrarily giving one faction’s race to another?

They didn’t have any problem adding Goblins to the Horde as a Playable race after years of them being a secondary race.

It’s bad writing and screwing over one faction with a shoe-horned in contrived plot for no other reason then to pacify a small demographic of players…

So why can’t they do that again to balance it out?

I still want black and white hair for void elves. I do agree that nightborne need some reworking. I was so disappointed with how they turned out. I swear their shoulder pads are lopsided and ridiculously huge. I hate it.

Well, since the Horde is 85.346% Belf and hoping to bring players over to the Alliance…they made void elves.

It didn’t work. So then they tried blood elf skin colors?

They already look exactly the same TBH. I would have preferred if they didn’t copy paste eye colors across both races but they did and now the only difference is hair color. Might as well give them at this point.

Yeah, they’re void alright.

Void of any purpose now that Blizzard scrapped the whole Ny’alotha in a single raid.

Its true. The choices are blue and grey. Jet black, sleek white should both be there.

I don’t even really view it like that because I don’t think void elves look worse than blood elves in any way. If I wasn’t way too lazy to level up an alliance toon just to be able to unlock void elves I would have a void elf too. I personally (obviously your opinion differs) just think void elves should be as easily accessible for people who want to play alliance as blood elves are for horde, rather than being locked behind an achievement.

Also understand why you think it’s unfair horde got blood elves but look at the races that existed back then - horde simply needed something more human looking. I honestly think that’s probably the biggest reason

Why? It’s more character customizations. Plus it will get the ball rolling for allied Races.

I am trying to think of an instance void magic ever appeared pure white or black. i can’t. And what would void elves have to give for blood elf hair colors to reciprocate? What is the point of void elves if they just get the hair colors too. It is a pathetic way to differentiate the two but it is all we have.

Idk why the gave blood elves purple eyes. That seems like it should have been void exclusive. I think they should have given them red eyes instead, so the horde players could RP their dark rangers finally.

Doesn’t stop Alleria from having blonde hair. And besides, I don’t recall the void just magically changing hair to an unnatural black, purple, or white. Blonde hair is harmless.

No void magick wasn’t black or white but in the real world black and white are the literal absence of color so it would make sense with the term “void” meaning nothingness pretty much

I agree with that. Purple eyes don’t make sense, red would’ve at least made sense to a degree but tbh I was fine with green and yellow. Blue is a nice addition I guess

I don’t really care about blonde hair but i would really like to have more customization. I want short ears and body jewelry. More hair styles wouldn’t hurt.

Void elves, like Blood elves, are high elves. It would make sense to at least have those options.
