Void Elves: You are VOID, not blood

I’m not opposed to more colors and options regardless of lore reasons lol.

Because we’re not at war due to having different hair colors

Ah yes, such an adult retort.

The difference between high elves and blood elves is literally only political, so please tell me how to let the Alliance have high elves that are any different than blood elves look wise? If you wanna play a belf, play a belf. Easy as that.

Fixed that for you.

And at this point nothing, we’ve “officially” ended the Alliance and Horde war with BFA, only further showing how unpopular an expansion based around our “conflict” was.

Why would they have to be different look wise? We have pandas on both sides and that’s fine.

Because you’re consumed by the void and addicted to it. You’re still blood elves - but addicted to a different drug so to say. All the blue and purple is just how void looks in this game. A bit like corruption.

That being said, I don’t really understand why people dislike void elf hair colors. I think you guys look like a more metal version of us :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I honestly can’t stand these people anymore. What is more shallow than the selfishness of being willing to sacrifice a potential brand new race just so that you can run around in the skin of a horde race. Void elves are the worst.

Honestly would love to see Sha/Void creature claws, eyes, and horns myself…kinda like progressive mutations…

That would be cool. Or maybe Alleria and Locus Walker could have brought back an actual ethereal allied race. Heck void broken/krokul would have been better then what we got.

This too, I believe Locus walker even mentions that Umbric and the others almost became “Something like ourselves”, but all of these sound like excellent additions.

Honestly I wish void elves had gotten the “wretched” appearance or had some real old god style influence.

Yknow tentacles and extra eyeballs maybe even.

Then its not really an elf though.

Wait. I hate elves.

I guess I just wanna be nzoth.

What a more perfect route for Blizz to have taken to scratch their “Void race” itch.

“Nah, lets copy paste a popular model and call it a day”.

We’re not talking about Void Elves.

We’re talking about High Elves, which were and are the mostly highly requested race in the game, that Blizzard went out of their way to give us a corrupt-a-wish version to make sure we never got the thing we were actually asking for.

Also, Void elves aren’t addicted to anything.

Frankly, “Void Elves” shouldn’t of existed as an actual race if we were to still be High Elves…
If the only thing separating High Elves from Blood Elves is politics then “Blood Elves” isn’t actually a race either. So that Means Blood Elves are racially High Elves.
BUT that also means that Void Elves, having been fundamentally changed as a race are no longer High Elves.

So this stupid “Faux-High Elf” make-over we got is nothing but a cruel insult and a teasing way of telling us “We’ll never have High Elves.”
It would of been far less cruel if they just gave us a “Void Form” like Worgen that like us be High Elves except when in combat. Lorewise, it would of made more sense.

But as far as making us look different from Blood Elves, I’m all for that.
Primarily, losing the “Resting B’tch-face” that all Blood Elves have and that, hey surprisingly enough, High Elf NPCs don’t have.

Fact is, nothing. There is no point of having races and they really never was.
The game has tried to have this pseudo-racial conflict that stopped being racial in WoTLK. But they carried on and continued to push this narrative that the Racial divide means ANYTHING.

Truth is, they is literally NO reason why the Factions should still be divided up by races, or hell, no reason why there should still be factions for that matter.

Legion was an example that racial divides were completely moot when we all worked alongside members of the other faction.
And now with the Covenants, it’s proof that working together isn’t even bound to class-only affiliations. We actually work together because we choose to.

The Faction conflict is meaningless now and the Racial separation is a pitiful joke.

High elves are the same exact race as blood elves. The difference is a political one, not an ethnic one.

Blood Elves are High Elves.
High Elves are not Blood Elves.

Blood elves WERE high elves.

High elves = high elves.
