That’s just not true, High Elves/Blood Elves were nearly wiped out by the undead… the majority of them are considered blood elves and joined the Horde pretty sure Lorthremar was leader at that point, Alleria only had a limited amount of elves as she worked with the Alliance closely and not staying with her people.
Those that were in Quel’thelas and left the Alliance/Dalaran, were wiped out yes. Those that survived and renamed themselves Blood Elves joined Kael’thas, then a splinter group of those few that survived and joined him went on to betray him and joined the Horde.
Compare that to the entire High Elven population of literally everywhere except Quel’thelas such as Dalaran, Stormwind, Etc.
High Elves are FROM QUEL’THELAS. That’s their home… the small remnants here and there don’t compare to even the current amount of blood elves AKA high elves…
And that the void elves defied the orders of their leadership. Messing with void magic was expressly forbidden, and the void elves abdicated their loyalty to Silvermoon in favor of experimenting and fascination with power.
Come now. Let’s not pretend they’re just good guys who had an oopsie.
They’re interesting because they made a morally grey decision…and one could argue it wasn’t all that grey. The Belves have every right to ban the Void Elves from their city, their protection, and their society.
You still have Shadow priests and Warlocks.
Logically, more than 1% of a nation live abroad, and those who stayed in Quel’thelas got eradicated for being there.
You tell me what there are logically more of, all of the people who left and live abroad, or a splinter group formed from a group of people who lost over 90% of their population.
Your splinter group from a group who are survivors of a genocide don’t compare to every single person who lived abroad.
If we wana be realistic, on average over 5% of a nation’s people born in said nation live abroad. Which includes countries that are extremely difficult to move out of and have huge native populations like China, and doesn’t factor in those born outside of the nation but still hold that nationality.
So at least 5% of High Elves, born in Quel’thelas, would realistically, logically, be living outside Quel’thelas, and therefore still be High Elves after the Third War, not including the High Elves born outside it’s forests, which would add to the number of surviving High Elves.
the difference is the same as between a fire mage and a fire elemental
Where are you even getting these numbers?
Once your corpse sure.
Void elves not allowed on blood elf lands, sorry.
I hear darkfallyn will be a allied race soon, hopefully they give the NE variant to the horde instead of making it neutral…
In his eyes they where still members of the horde, so in the hordes perspective they are traitors.
Umm… experimenting is apart of studying…
They where going to go there regardless if they where exiled or not… He wanted that dudes notes. Going for those notes is apart of what got them exiled.
Source on the percentage of Quel’dorei pre-fall living outside Quel’thalas?
it isnt that we have less high elves, its that the quel’dorei are mostly half elves now, after 2800 years of mating with humans. ion even describes this by saying alliance high elves were being assimilated and as a result are not technically high elves anymore but rather half elves. elisande even points it out when she addresses the kaldorei, sindorei and queldorei. i do believe she referred to it as their diluted bloodline.
so sure, alliance might have alot of quel’dorei but they probably should have a model and name change to indicate they are mostly half elves now
Hello, please read my thread and tell me what you think of half elves being playable as the representation of dalaran (nuatral race of course);
Please look up the term of exile, just saying.
Yes. apparently Dalaran is the new Silvermoon City.
Except it is not?
It has it’s own culture, history and asthetics.
Yeah! They were exiled from silvermoon city not the horde. Other horde lands would welcome voice research.
Half Elves would actually be a pretty neat thing. But would they use blood elf or human skeleton? Maybe pick from both? Or throw a human head with pointed ears on a blood elf body, or a blood elf head on a human body? ok no that’s madness we’re not forsaken making abonination.
I would just give them a unique rig. Not every individual would stand or walk the same, it could be reflected by that. I would imagine giving customizations to feature either race more pronounced or equal to the other.
They could also have so.e unique customizations as well.
Well then it will 100% not happen. Blizzard wouldn’t even give the new core race Dracthyr a new rig.
Lol. Dracthyr is a new rig though.
People I’d just too butcher about it’s looks and trying to make excuses on why dragons needs more “feminine body” looks
You can go to silvermoon.
You’ll just get killed if you do, so make sure to pack a first aid kit
