Void elves were a mistake, Blizzard is realizing that now. They’re treating them more like High elves than Void elves.
That is the biggest mistake of them all. Just rename high elves at this rate I’m just done pretending blizzard wants them to be void elves.
That’s what players wanted to begin with. Void elves were a spiteful conciliation with the playerbase to give them what they wanted but with a drawback. Which was Blizzard’s design philosophy for a long time: Give players what they want, but not really.
What draw back exactly? That they’re not “High” elves? lol you can name a chicken a duck, it’ll still be a chicken.

It’s only the natural reaction of the players if you belittle and mock them. They went overboard with the Dark Rangers options but it is clear now that they still want to make it up with the Void Elves.
Nothing will change until they get a High Elf race plate and an adjusted racial effect. All of this would have not happened if they went with High Elves first and then the Void Elves.
Yes. People wanted high elves, they gave them void elves. They wanted to be pretty blonde elves, not elves with tentacles. The only good thing about void elves is that they might lead to playable ethereals in the future, but that’s their only redeeming quality. The lore around them doesn’t make sense at all.
They seem to want to change that to giving players what they want. Seem being the operative word.
