I found a group of NPCs hanging out in an alley near the cathedral in Stormwind.
One mockingly told me this was an invite only and to go away.
The other mocked my outfit. This is making me really sad.

I find that replying with scathing wit is the proper response.
For example:
“Thy parental unit is invite only.”
or…
“Thanks, I made this mog to go with yon face!”
Followed by a haughty heel-turn and snapping of fingers as you strut away.
It is vitally important, though, to get the heel-turn correct, as any mistake with the maneuver will lead to the burn being extinguished at your expense.

By that definition than the Blood Elves were losers thrown out of the Elven Empire for smoking the Arcane.

You’d have to care for that to work I think. Those that left with Dathremar seem to have thought little enough of the Night Elves they were leaving. Where as Void Elves seem to be offended they were kicked out of Silvermoon.
My fashion sense is prefectly fine!

What? That doesn’t make any sense.
The Blood Elves were forcibly removed from the Empire, they didn’t go willingly. They still complain about it, even in Legion they were grumbling about it.
(Confession): Unit Exacitor’s Wednesday morning entertainment consists of targeting random Void Elves with the All-Seer’s Eye and dropping them random whispers with it.
Thalassians down mourn the loss of Night Elf society, that’s a joke.
I believe it’s a quest in Winterspring where you help a ghost of a Highborne who is ‘excited’ to leave with Dathremar, I believe he’s telling someone he believes to be a friend that turns out to be a demon and you kill the demon. But it’s some insight into the state of mind of Elves who left.
Also they weren’t forcibly removed if they had the choice of giving up arcane, they liked you so little arcane was more important 
They literally had the choice to give up arcane and chose not to, because they didn’t care about the society they were kicked out of, they were Highborne.
To be fair they probably got kicked out of the Cathedral and are projecting onto you.

I feel like the Rendorei were released with a certain social representation to fit certain agenda either way I can’t spend to much time on mine without feeling out of character. Just my 2 cents.
