I know! It’s hardly even worth transmogging.
This is how I roll…
None of my boys will be. I’ve been wanting to play a High Elf for so long now–and now I finally can. I’ll probably sticking to haircuts with tendrils in them though, just because the rest are pretty awful.
I’ve grown used to being blue, but then again, I like to change my appearance from time to time.
I learned about it when I was just randomly looking up info about the Void Elf abilities and passives. There is a disclaimer that it might be photoshopped, but I like to think it’s true, just because. More Entropic Embrace skins - #20 by Nicodemùs-argent-dawn
Happy for you
Some people really dislike my Golden Eyes but as of now I love them
Lannisterian was almost a Paladin or another Priest, so I feel like it works, regardless I just like the color, so I can imagine you’re very excited for blue!
Golden eyes were always good for belfs. Though I’m glad they’re getting blue eyes options.
A warlock who manages to keep their connection to the holy aspects of the Sunwell and overcome their casual use of the Fel?
Now that is power.
Maybe change to green eyes at some point but I don’t think so. I like to think Lannisterian was rather far along in studying the light when we was tempted and found another, better path. But his eyes staying golden a reminder of what path he was once on and so connected with. shrugs
I like it. Its a good story over all.
They are not giving you high elves, I’m not sure why people are so confused by this.
Unless you are rping of course.
I am. I like my blueberry.
maybe. havent decided yet. theres nothing really wrong with me
I guarantee the majority will shift to High Elf customizations.
But there will always be regular Void Elves too. They don’t look bad. They just weren’t High Elves.
My Void Elves will stay Void Elves because it seems more fitting for the classes I made them, but those are distant alts. If I made another one, it’d very likely be a High Elf.
They better give us the half ear option! C’mon Blizzard don’t screw this up for us! I also will be changing skin tones, but I will keep my mage as light void purplish skin to go with the theme.
Lac’s story always had a fixed conclusion of going Void in due time. So I decided before N’zoth was done to let her and the Old God have an afternoon together …and socialize, over various bad decisions she has made in the past, such as serving the Twilight’s Hammer.
Ahem. Dangerous similarities with the meeting of the Keymaster and Gatekeeper aside, and suspending the plight of the world for just a moment… I’ll totally be staying Void if I ever play Priest again. Really my only regret is not being able to be a tentacled beastie Hordeside. I daresay I wish Void Elves were Horde, and Blood Elves were Alliance now.
…I also suppose that this viewpoint makes me the Reverse Flash of the High Elf community. Ironic.
Oh well. Eobard Thawne was a excellent villain character.
Nope. Never wanted blueberry elves in the first place.
No, I’m not going to stay voidy on my mage.
I was actually one of the people who were initially excited for Void Elves when playing through the Alleria storyline in Mac’Aree. When I realized we were getting something that barely reminded me of her or her story, I was bummed out.
So, separate from any Silver Covenant High Elf stuff, I have always wanted this for Void Elves from the very beginning.
Also, think how cool Entropic Embrace will look now with the visual contrast of flipping from one extreme to the other, instead of barely changing a little bit.
I mean the Devs literally said the new customization options are specifically to represent High Elves. Here is the question and answer from the interview last week:
"According to a dev interview Ion gave several months ago, Blood Elves were originally unintended to have blue eyes in Shadowlands, but later on that decision was reversed following team discussions. If the art department was involved, what was the reasoning that led to blue eyes being added for Void Elves and Blood Elves?
This is another place where there was a race, High Elves, in the game which hadn’t really been represented on player characters. Blood Elves were the closest, but had felt green eyes. It was an opportunity where we had a number of elven races, and we could tie it back to their roots, letting players choose where they want to align and what fantasy to play out. We did have a lot of discussion about it, ultimately we might do more in the future, but for now we’re providing the option to have a few High Elf customizations available."

We are not confused
Yes you are, customization’s do not stop you from being a Void Elf. You can rp a High Elf sure and I hope you do but gameplay and lorewise peach skinned Void Elves are still Void Elves.
Blood Elves are true High Elves, Ren’dorei are biologically different but retain their High Elven culture.
I’m just tired of people trying to delete Void Elves, the non void skins do not mean you have playable High Elves, you can just look like one. Much like Alleria, who has not been referred to as a High Elf in any Quest text or literature since Argus.
Void Elf boys look like pretty blueberries.
…how ya’ doin?
