I just had a kinda weird thought.
Technically, the Sunreavers are affiliated directly with Dalaran. They’re a Sin’dorei faction of Dalaran, sure, but… they’re not under the direct governance of Quel’thalas.
With this in mind, they’re likely not bound to the same restrictions as other Sin’dorei, despite having a certain Horde alignment.
Do you think any Sunreavers could have become void elves? And more importantly/interestingly, could they have actually remained Sunreavers (When in the confines of Dalaran at least) if they chose to?
I mean we don’t really have any evidence for it and it’s doubtful, but twas a weird idea that popped into my head.

Voidreaver does have a cool ring to it, but I’m pretty sure they’re a Horde-aligned political unit.
I could see a Sunreaver deciding to follow Umbric, just as easily as any other blood elf could decide to follow Umbric. But while the Sunreavers have close ties with Dalaran, they operate under Aethas Sunreaver, who is a citizen of Quel’Thalas.
If Aethas wants to continue being a citizen of Quel’Thalas, I think it would be very unwise of him to allow a void elf to publicly stand among his followers. Rommath has been shown to dislike Aethas as it is, so I doubt he’d be cut much slack.
But again, that doesn’t mean a Sunreaver couldn’t defect. It also doesn’t necessarily mean that Aethas wouldn’t consort with a void elf, an ex-Sunreaver void elf in particular, if there was some good reason for him to do so. But he’d almost certainly want to keep that on the down-low.

I think the main issue here is Dalaran.
The Kirin Tor has rules and regulations on what magic is acceptable to practice and study, and what magic isn’t. If the likes of Necromancy remain in the, ‘Not Acceptable,’ category, I cannot imagine the Kirin Tor looking upon the study of Void Magic in a favorable light, particularly in lieu of the Zuldazar Incursion Questing. Granted that’s more animating the in-animate, but all the same, it’s meant to be reminiscent of Necromancy to break the morale of the Zandalari.
While there could have been some Sunreavers moonlighting with Umbric, I can’t imagine they’d remain Sunreavers after the transformation.
