Void elf Paladins in Midnight?

Currently there are 3 classes that have been teased for paladins.

1.) Night elfs since Legion
2.) Kul Tirans since end of DF
3.) Void Elfs since the pre-patch of TWW

I know some might argue, well Light/void dont mix. To that I say, if a lightforged is still able to wield powers of the void as a shadow priest even after the ritual they go through, then the argument can be made that Void elfs should still be able to wield the light.

Do to the way Paladins wield the light and the fact that if a Void Elf where to channel the light in such a way they would destroy Half of Stormwind.

The way that Priests channel the light and Void is completely different from a Paladin. Paladins use themselves as a conduit for it, so kaboom you just destroyed half a city.

On the bright side if that city is Orgrimar…

What you’re referring to is nothing more than headcannon made by the community. There has never been a single definitive piece of lore that has stated that priest/paladins use the light in different ways.

The only difference between a priest and a paladin is combat style alone.

The Order of the silver hand was founded by priest who took up a more combative role and became paladins.

They do mix on a cosmic scale, that’s what creates Fel (magic).

With what we’ve seen in TWW with Dawnlight and Priory, I wouldn’t be surprised to see “Shadow/Void theme” paladin hero spec in Midnight as well as Undead Paladins.

And further down the line, if these exist, a Fel theme Hero spec as well.
If we end up fighting the titans, fel magic might be a potent source to combat them.

It’s not headcannon it’s lore. Its literally why Turalyon and Alleria can’t be intimate.

And also, it’s pretty clear Blizz doesn’t care nearly as much as some of its community about these kind of thing being impossible/possible.

We’ll likely see some pretty out there stuff in the next 2 expacs.

None of you are worthy of the Holy Light.

Well…maybe Kul Tirans. We can let them in the clubhouse.

Kul tirans has plenty of room for the light just like dwarves always have room for ale.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the ale. Dwarves are definitely useful for that.

Okay, they’re welcomed in as well.

Careful of the dark iron ones though…

They like it spicy… very very spicy.

really like the idea of void elf paladins. Be an interesting mix. Plus, the blood elf/void elf bodies are the best in the game so the more classes they can play the better imo.

You also forgot warlocks they can also be warlocks.

So not sure if you play horde but when you unlock the Mag’har orcs they say that some of the orcs went with the forces of the light so they also set up for light forged orcs.

That won’t happen. Blizzard is already giving the Alliance one more DH race, and they said that they will do something to balance this, since it brings faction imbalance. The Alliance already has two more Paladin races than the Horde.

Night elf paladin was teased ten years ago, yet you get void elf DH instead. That won’t happen, and if it does, it won’t be so soon.

LF draenei can be Warlocks because every single playable race in the game can. There are classes that are available for all races, and Warlock is one of them. Paladin isn’t.

All that being said, void elf paladin makes absolute zero logical sense.

It would be easier to main a paladin if I could be an elf. I always miss being a night elf whenever I play a class they can’t be.

There are elves that can be Paladins.

oh, sorry I meant the best type of elf.

Yes, it is available.

This, this is the only right answer.

Are we sure they have the resources to create a charger mount for them?

Like what if that competes with the next promotion/store mount?? Or adding more customization options for the next allied race 0.6% of people choose to play??

We’re asking too much :money_mouth_face:
