Void elf new class?

For maybe making them even with the blood elf’s. I do wish the void elf’s could be demon hunters but I don’t think they will do that.

Paladins and shamans.

But how would void elf’s communicate with the elements and harness the light?

DH DH DH!!!
The double edge is just too good to pass up :stuck_out_tongue: The sooner blizz allow VE DHs the better xD

Ah yes, to make them even with blood elves since they have druids…

Not to mention that you feel that an Allied Race should be even with a Baseline race.

Yes, we’ve seen the positive effects of void and fel combining in Hellfire Citadel…

Stares in hunter.

Have them harness the void instead. No reason it has to be light.
Plus when things are getting really bad on the battle field, could have a paladin from each type run out and join together and decimate the enemy in the equivalent of an antimatter explosion :stuck_out_tongue:

Pop your bubbles boys…Fred and Bob have got us covered.
KABOOOOOOOOOOM

Keep class mechanics, call them Voidhunters/Voidwalkers…and give void themed abilities.
Instead of turning into a demon, they could turn into large voidwalkers or some other void beastie.
They’ve already got power, the Illidari can just show them how to use it in a manner similar to their own.

Curious about the positive effects comment too…was there something actually in there showing it one way or the other? The Legion often had minions/bosses that gave me the impression they were using void powers.

Ah yes, let’s give an Alliance AR a class that only makes sense for them.

That seems logical.

I’ve thought adding San’layn and doing the very same for them would be a cool way to go.
There’s also the nightborne.
San’layn demon hunters that make use of the gargoyle models for transformation, or just whip up some new model that’s similar and uses that rig. Spells use blood effects.

Nightborne have already been enemy combatant demon hunters…could tweak the nightelf meta forms to make them a bit more nightborne looking.

personally id like to see more DH races, even if it is just the other elves

personally id like to see Draenei and orcs whom were trained in Black temple but :man_shrugging:

In what way are they not even?

That would be awesome. Ours used to look pretty good, then they changed it to be a gross purple blob. So sad :frowning:

Next chapter: “inofficial tauren rogue megathread”

I believed that the more class that race could become the more powerful they are.

So it isn’t about being even but just more. Void Elfs have a lot and have gotten more than the other allied races have so far.

Do you believe void elf’s and nightbourne can become demon hunters.

Paladins are the only one that’d make sense, and it’d come with class skins.

Yeah, it’d have been neat if they’d kept shadow as an aspect of light, and then made a void caster class of it’s own.

For the melee void form, I was thinking something sorta like Venom, but wearing armor (with transmog you could remove most of it if you wanted)…maybe not the helm, or have it optional…but then having customizations like back tentacles or spikes, extra eyes, big toothy maw…maybe the face tentacles like faceless ones instead…kinda take ideas from different old gods and minions, few different skin colors. Maybe even some Cthraxxi style hand claws.

We have the partially void corrupted Broken in MacAree that already have that kind of look. Just make it complete.

I’d thought instead of having it as a power up form or something that gives buffs, just leave it as optional. Have the little spell box like Shadowform that you click to change into it or out of it at will, maybe have a right click option (like pet spells) that causes it to “equip” and “unequip” when entering and leaving combat…which would also be a great option to add to Two Forms for worgen as well.

I came here expecting yet another High Elf Paladin wannabe.
I was not disappointed.

i actually wish we could get more specializations or move past the generic placeholder class names like ‘priest’ ‘paladin’ ‘shaman’ they’re so vague and the reason these combos dont work… if the paladin tree had subclasses like templar/crusader/riftblade/shadowknight/moonwalker/sunwalker everything would smoothe out like ahhhh i get it. priests need this the most… mage would be hard because theres SO many schools of wizardry

i only now just learned bc of maghar recruit line that elisande may have been the only non-dragon to know chronomancy…
