Void Elf-High Elf Customization Thread

It’s so sad that they turned the Void Elves non existent Lore into Hoozen Dooken. Truly something that will shake the very foundations of Azeroth.

I don’t act.

So it is similar, but different is your arguement? I could agree with that. I just went and did a comparison with pics. While they do share a skeleton, they do have different models. I think I prefer the older one though.

Duh? People have debate because they 2 conflicting agendas.

My argument is that AR would have better served for races with models that reuse either assets or fantasy and thus would not make the cut as a Core Race. Races like LFD, DID, Maghar, HMT, would have better just been expanded customization.

That’s even worse.

Depending on the race I agree.

No, because then Alliance won’t have Void Elves.

There’s a reason why I didn’t mention NB and VE here; it’s because by virtue of “crossing the faction” they are separate options from anything else available on that faction.

Void Elves, Nightborne, Kul Tiran, Zandalari and Vulpera, IMO, are all the races that make sense as Allied Races and not just customization options. Lightforged Draenei, Highmountain Tauren, Maghar Orc, Dark Iron Dwarf and Mechagnome, all of them could have been customization options of their core race. If we had had a more robust and customizable racials system, it would have been perfect this way IMO.

Kul’tiran and Zandalari also add class combinations that their base races do not have.

Anyways, instead of spamming threads, I thought to continue keeping this one active to request for some High Elf tattoos styles for the Void Elves, and some more hair styles.

Indeed. I also think that’s something very interesting about the AR system, really wish more AR’s added new combos than their core races don’t have.

No, Horde should get Ogre.

Ogres really should already be on the Horde by this point. Heck they should’ve come before goblins since goblins should be neutral. Take the KT model, change the heads and add different color palettes and customization options and poof you have ogres.

KT is for half ogre, Ogre should be bigger.

And worgen should be around eight feet tall, but Blizzard historically is lazy and making character models reflect their size by lore doesn’t seem to be high on their list (sadly). Tauren should be taller than they are too I think.

I’m pretty sure this will happen at some point. But what will get the poor Alliance? Another human race?

Maybe Furbolgs? They’re really the only other “Allied” Alliance race i can think of. They’re not as prominent as High Elves were as a non playable “Allied” race but i remember there was a friendly tribe of them on the Draenei islands. I think they could make an interesting addition and i’d be curious to see what their player models would look like. I wonder if they’d be built off the Worgen skeleton?

Ogres are long overdue just as High Elves were.

My persional opinion is that in Vanilla there should have been five playable races at the start.

High Elves should have been the 5th Alliance race and start alongside the Humans in Northshire.

The 5th Horde race should have been Ogres or Goblins.

Let’s give them Water Ogres so they experience the Alliance treatment first hand. At the same time we also ruin any chances for Gilgoblins for the Horde in the typical Blizzard spite move.

Sethrak, Jinyu, Saberon, Naga, Ethereals…

There are so many interesting races

I Personally would rather them take the time upgrade in game quality of life systems, then waste time on rushed unfinished expansions/systems, put a real FULLY upgraded/revamped characterization creation system in , and actually upgrade garrisons to feel more like a home your proud to own.
