you just admitted you’re trolling. Thank god.
until you can show everyone ONE blood elf who has blue eyes, stop talking.

…
No they don’t. They are the same race.
Blood elves eyes changed due to fel radiation. Per the devs that was always going to go away.
Thalassian elves just react to magic that way. High elves close to fel for long enough should also turn green.
High and blood elves focused on holy faith and power should turn gold.
You’re being ridiculous.
Lanesh the Steelweaver.
already discussed in a multitude of threads years ago; concluded as a bug Blizzard let slide under the rug; caused massive confusion in the community for this very reason. Why? Because Blood elves dont have blue eyes.
try again.
Nope. It’s been repeatedly reported as a bug, but every time they ran through eye color change fixes it’s never been changed. And there is apparently some story behind him.
It does not really matter what skin, eye, or hair color void elves have, they turn glowing purple when they enter combat and about every minute or so after that.
… you do realize when Steve Danuser was hired as lead narrator right? YEARS after this NPC was put in the game lol.
Patches 5.1 and (irc) 5.2 added a number of belf npcs with helf eyes. Back then, Dave Kosak and Mickey Neilson had said that this was a mistake. Keyword: MISTAKE, ergo, BUG.
but since blood elves have blue eyes, would you care to show us another example that isn’t a mistake? (i.e. teris blightsunder)
And yet his model was never corrected like other belfs that did get corrected.
You keep being so confidently and loudly wrong without any proof backing up your claims that they are separate races.
Changing eye color is all it takes to make a new species to you?
hahaha, your only defense is a single NPC they admitted was a mistake, but forgot to fix.
yeah, good argument pal~
Do you have any proof that that npc is a mistake, or just a general overall comment about npcs that were fixed being bugged?
If that NPC is a mistake then it is one they make every time they use him, Isle of Thunder and Suramar.
oh now you want to play the proof game where I have to go dig up freakin tweets and posts from 2013 rofl
I cant post links on this account; 2013 Dave Kosak tweeted “I thought we fixed that bug already” in response to the patch putting in a couple Sunreaver models with blue eyes. They fixed all of them but one, which the forums concluded “they forgot” as they didnt see it as a priority. Just like Red Shirt guy reminding them that Falstaad wasn’t dead at Blizzcon. In those days, the consistency of the lore was bumpy.
so no, they dont have blue eyes. Blood elves and high elves have physiological differences for very distinct reasons outlined in the lore.
stop grasping at straws and hiding behind bugs/mistakes; it ironically proves you’re wrong and desperate.
Hmm, almost like maybe there was something different with one? If it was a mistake, as mentioned above, why would it keep happening when that character was reused in later expansions?
And really this is a distraction from the real issue that you have yet to show in any way how high elves and blood elves are different, as generally eye colors are not something that is actually considered a physical difference. Hell, I mean Alleria was originally green eyed.
I think it is your own head-canon that is getting in the way now. You are saying, before the Sun well was fel corrupted, in Burning Crusade, not warcraft III btw, that NO high elf was EVER born with green eyes?
they said it was a bug. The top dog who made this decision confirmed it was an accident.
your defense is they purposely left ONLY ONE IN, but changed all the others because secretly, they want blood elves to have blue eyes? Then they wouldn’t of tried to revert ANY of the mistakes.
your desperation is far too intense to entertain anymore. So before you attempt to pivot for the second time after being proven wrong, good luck pal lol
Okay but what about the green-eyed blood elves in Warcraft III before they made contact with Illidan who showed them fel magic? Why did they have green eyes then?
I mean, this is still a distraction as the only distinction between blood elf and “high” elf is that the blood elves changed their names to honor their losses. That is the entirety of the difference between the two groups.
Correct, and they did this before they ever met Illidan and turned to fel magic
again, blizzard ADMITTED this was a mistake in, “The Thousand Years of War”, but refused to change it because they felt, AND I QUOTE, “It would be too confusing to the playerbase!”
I get it, you’re a victim to the many mistakes and inconsistencies the company has made over the years. Try to accept that the company HAS ADMITTED they’re mistakes, and stop trying to thus argue that mistakes = canon.
Thus, if you ignore the mistakes and the bugs, Blood elves do NOT have blue eyes. That is a difference that characterizes High Elves when compared to them.
wrap it with a bow, and send it to your girlfriend; this debate is finished.
