They can’t seem to accept the void part of being a Void Elf which is pretty ironic given if they don’t want to be void tainted the proper race with the options they seek is on Horde side.

Wanna know what’s more ironic Blizzard had two different times to copy/paste natural hair colors to Void Elves, they chose not to, why is that do you think? Oh right it’s because you are void tainted and we aren’t, pure vs taint, make sense yet?
I’m upset that we have playable Cows, Space Goats, Foxes and Panda’s, but no playable Horses yet.
Jokes aside, everyone is upset with something though, but some are more of pushing it into a different matter as if to say, “you can be this, but you can’t be this”. And that is how these arguments always get out of control. And therefore, both sides are not valuing the opinions of others and turning against each other.

To be fair though, I think that actually supports the other argument. A race on the Alliance with the same model and same features got more familiar customizations (the light skin and blue eyes you are referring to), therefore people do want to keep visual distinction in tact. I’d love to see white/black hair on Void Elves personally, with maybe a few more shades of pink and purple.

I don’t think we count as High elves the same way as Blood elves do.
Void Elves have been changed through transformation in either case we’ve seen of their creation. They now bleed a totally different color as well. Thats not a minor change of politics.
Blood Elves and High Elves are indistinguishable in the Lore save for Blood Elves likely having green eyes from fel radiation. And Lorewise there isn’t much reason for that to be the case anymore either. Blue should be returning. Gold should be showing up among the devout.
No ones explained the purple but I’m not complaining.
Void Elves are Thalassian. I don’t know that they are High Elves anymore.

Demon hunters have black blood, they are still the same race.
Void Elves are high elves just as much as blood elves are high elves. Stated by blizzard, and supported by blizzard.

I was originally okay with white and black hair colors for Void Elves but the more time I’ve been in these threads the less I am okay with that given Blood Elves already have white and black hair colors so Void Elves shouldn’t have it. I do support pinks and purples though.
Implemented differently.
Stated in lore to not be just Blood Elves or Night Elves anymore. They’re half demon to full demon depending.
What you see in Blizzards words on this isn’t what I see.

I understand that completely. I’ve just sort of accepted that it’ll probably happen, but I’m pretty opposed to blondes/reds/browns personally.

I’d give Night Elves paladin in a second, but I think Worgen and Kul’Tiran are good candidates too.

They wield the light and the void, as well as other cosmic forces of course like arcane. I’m hanging out with family though but if I was on my laptop I could list off some npcs.

I don’t need to go around impersonating others so no it doesn’t upset me, but we do know you don’t have the options so I guess that’s two for two towards the claim maybe you’re the one displaying traits one might describe as upset
