I never said it was but unlike you or others I look at this topic realistically and realize that Blizzard could have copy/paste normal hair colors to Void Elves but they didn’t and they had the chance to twice already and I’m confident in that there’s a reason for that and that reason is we are the actual pure untainted High Elves where Void Elves are the off brand void tainted ones which is why you have the options you have and we have the options we have.

You shouldn’t be ashamed of what you are, sadly it seems most people that are on that side or that play Void Elves are and it’s just sad.
Blood Elves being the playable High Elf race really seems to bother some people even as they try to reach with nothing more than confirmed RP tools and player agency they don’t have the full aesthetic to show for it for a reason Blood Elves do.
There are a small group of void elf lovers that I’ve run across on Wyrmrest and they are quite welcoming.
I don’t begrudge those who want to RP as high elves though (and I’ve met a fair few who take issue with me but I don’t think they represent the high elf community at large) and I’ve had several good run ins.
I can accept you feeling this way even if from what I have seen they aren’t very charming people.
Of course it’s going to bother them because they want to have what we do, envy is a very bad thing to have but here we are many and I say many years later.
I agree for the most part. I just want to have the options for people to RP as they please and have the character they want to play.
I personally love the idea of the Void Elves and their void powers. I want them to have druids and paladins in their repertoire as I want more information, lore, and story to really open up more about the Void. It’s mysterious and very cool the stuff we have seen, especially with the Old Gods and some of the Naaru stuff.
I’d love a class purely built on void energies and not just Shadow Priests. If they added a full plate caster to the game built all on void energies, I’d so be there.
Reading through that I wonder if perhaps this is more a nexus somewhere within the Great Dark Beyond of void, nether and death energies tied together by some force or perhaps just natural inclinations of those powers interacting.
Curious.
I suspect though that a void expansion is probably not where we’ll go next.
lol they dont . If that logic was true then that would be for every race in wow and it isnt . They already gave us light skin n blue eyes . So most likely eventually they will give us the hair styles and colors . Since they were avail since 2007 then that means Void elfs should have those basic options since we have light skin now aswell . They would be silly not to add it in .
That is more of speculation at the moment though. We can’t say what will happen, and considering more people are still transfering to Horde, allowing people to go full High Elf doesn’t seem like it is going to really do anything bad at all.
But having options for everyone is better than only being one sided with options.

they gave us light skin and blue eyes already only a matter of time .
we are still high elfs and the same base race so we should be able to get the basic customization .
more pure rich black hair colors i know they can do it they did it for humans .
