And there is nothing wrong with critiquing the options aswell as those that ask. Especially when said options could further homogenize a core race that has been available since 2007.

eh, I wouldnât take to much issue with one who donât understand nor played the intro quests to get that void elves was transformed into a new different race and chooses to ignore it entirety.
Insults from them just makes them look silly. Everyone knows they are wrong, and everyone giggles at them for thinking they are in a place to toss insults around.

You obviously have not played the intro quest to claim them as a ânew raceâ.
I mean hey, lets look at the lore:
- Alleria Windrunner became infused with the void after absorbing the power from the Dark Naruu, Lâura
- Alleria saved Umbric and his followers during there transformation into the void from the Void Etherals.
After all that, they established an area where they can learn to control the void magic and for anyone to study the void magic safely, as well as established themselves as the Renâdorei. Just a name change, not a race change. It is like with the Blood Elves, they changed there names to Sinâdorei to honor there fallen.
In the end, Sinâdorei or Renâdorei, both groups are âHigh Elvesâ

No, heâs right, just because you donât want to acknowledge it doesnât mean it didnât happen because you cling to âB-but Alleria!â while ignoring the dialogue in the scenario.
But well, considering you want to pretend that headcanon is canon, it doesnât surprise me.
Imo, I welcome those, it shows their true colors.
Think of it as a service, my obnoxious nature helps bring the true nastiness out of people to appear more honest. Yes, letâs go with that.
(On a side note, I barely slept, just got my vaccine, and now Iâm eating chocolate covered churros while listening to Yakuzaâs karaoke songs⌠sounds like a good morning.)

Your not playing as alleria, whom took a different route then the player charecter and the entire race of VEâs to get her powers. In game she even acknowledges she isnât quite a high elf nor any kind of elf.

Youâre not asking for more options though youâre asking for the continued poaching of options BEs already have for a visual theme they already fulfill that are already in game.
Visual distinction is a valid request and at this point the argument that should be heard, Alliance should not have a complete copy of a Horde core race no matter how mad some people seem to be theyâve been Horde longer at this point then they ever were Alliance.
Alleria needs to be updated giving more lore / story to VEs while having her reflect more of the void.

This should have happened at the start as soon as Void Elves were implemented into the game as playable, more so given how often they update other NPCâs models literally by the expansion or the patch depending.

The best part about the void is Iâm sure it can be written in to happen at anytime, with the desire to âlook like Alleriaâ but the push back from people who value visual distinction (a stance blizzard values as well throughout the years and going so far as to not add natural hair options when they did the skin tones) they should update the model, just like (Mag? Or someone else?) pointed out the model / way Sylvanas has changed / other npcs drastically changed and they donât even have a void element that could or should be effecting them and their appearance.

More options for Void Elves is still more options for Void Elves, not sure what sort of mental leaps your trying to make there.
Visual distinction isnât as much of a valid request as you think it is, especially given how itâs already been dismantled. And as mentioned already countless times, there would not be a complete copy, especially when Blood Elves get their existing Arcane/Light/Fel/Blood themes expanded.
High Elves arenât just Horde, both factions have a claim to them no matter how much you blatantly ignore the lore. Ignoring the lore because it suits you makes you look bad, but feel free to keep doing it to show your true colors.
Alleria doesnât need to get changed. Void Elves getting more Void and normal options expands their existing themes for both types of Void Elf players.

Good idea, Blizzard shouldâve given the Blood Elves more of a monsterous look, and actually given the Alliance the High Elves that were Alliance long before the Horde got the Blood Elves.

One reason for the Blood Elves choice was obviously looks. Youâd be amazed how many people will not play the Horde based purely on the fact that theyâre monstrous. So by giving an attractive race to the Horde, we feel like weâre opening a whole new part of the game to the people who wouldnât experience that half of the game.

We are the High Elves, you can keep acting like we arenât but it doesnât change that we are, your side has Void Elves which are void tainted Blood Elves and Ion overruled Jeff when he said Horde is waiting for you so either play Horde or donât we have what you want because we are the pure elves.

I agree that you are void tainted and that you will never be pure like we are so you should never have the options we have. I have never said Void Elves arenât a form of High Elves, I tend to say they are twice removed because they are.
