I have always seen it as this for both sides due to the fact there is a disagreement but I don’t know what to think now. I really am confused which is why I asked why he reacted like that.

This is the whole thing with this topic thought.
Disagreement it’s only welcome when:
A. It bumps the topic for those in favor to find the topic easily.
B. It’s against those not in favor.
It’s not new really.

He basically used someone’s point / post to tie his stance back in / restate his stance.
I feel I did the same, only in reply to his stance.
In neither case do I feel we were wrong we’re pushing our povs I just find it odd he can’t see he was doing the same thing and takes such issue in it with others. And then proceeded to instruct me how to converse in a way that benefits his POV something based on his past reactions to people I feel had I told him I don’t think it would have gone over very well.

Not the first time I’ve seen that reasoning implied, which is why I summarized it as “it’s ok when I do it”.
Also the whole “I can use your disagreement to prop up my own agenda” it’s… I don’t know, I don’t like it at all.

Because he goes out of his way to reiterate it to ME at every opportunity. And I’m tired of seeing my notifications blow up. Ignore resolves that issue.

If I ask someone not to reply to me and they continue to do so, what should I do then?
I’m not saying he cant post his opposition until the cows come home. I just don’t need those posts to be replies to ME giving me notifications anytime I post.
I’m sorry but I’m not obligated to just put up with it. The ignore function exists for a reason and I’ve made use of it. And if you want to demonize me for not putting up with it, well that’s on you.
If anyone asked me to not reply to their posts, I’d have the decency to respect their wishes.

Fair enough, I can’t say I agree with you because I don’t and like I said earlier lots of people repeat themselves including you and me in some of our posts but that’s still your choice if you really feel that’s the best solution to Lann or anyone else repeating themselves.

I disagree.
While Blizzard has said that the golden eyes tends to come to those who are using the Light, its through the Sunwell that they have their direct connection to a Light based source of energy.
Some Blood Elves even still draw the Light by force through that means.
Their eyes tend to change based off of the energies they’re using or in proximity for long periods of time with. The Sunwell being connected to them all means that even though without a devout calling may have their eyes shift. It is half arcane half Light after all.
I think if you are tired to the point that you feel like asking someone not to respond to you, for whatever reason, there is no harm in choosing to remove yourself from that situation.
Thats partially what the mute function is for.
Personally I hate not seeing the posts and I always end up looking anyways… And I don’t have as much an issue with repeat posts. Unless its certain people… now I think on it.

Didn’t vereesa have purple eyes for a bit in the comics after eating a bunch of arcane energy? Don’t have my copies of it anymore to check.
To my knowledge purple hasn’t been adequately explained?
I could be wrong. I know there is a card that shows her with purple eyes but I do not know its lore implication.

both instances are just examples of a blood elf briefly manifesting a different eye color because of the magic they are casting
I think his solution is his solution but the issue being open for all to see is all I care about.
It’s very evident the issue moved from repeating myself with him (despite the fact he too was repeating himself and his point he was just using another posters point to do so and that’s fine but that’s exactly what I was doing as well) to now it’s that I replied to him at all?
Which my original input was maybe a public forum isn’t the best place for the type of conversation he is trying to have? I don’t go on Twitter and then go omg don’t reply to my tweets if someone replies to me.
And for all this talk of “targeting him” it feels more so the opposite he seems to target me or feel that I should be held to some weird standard he holds me to. Like so many things go down in these threads but he’s going to villainize me because I replied to him? And that my reply entailed repeating my stance (something he also will do at any opportunity)?
Like do what you have to do in terms of your peace of course but at the same time I think it’s very transparent and I’m glad we had the conversation out in the open so all can see the dialogue of this weird standard I am held to which feels applicable to what many like Midare said antis have been held to in the past.

You don’t seem to have trouble doing the exact same thing to people who you know well what their position is.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind getting in the back and forth if you come at me with a reply, which is why I won’t say that to you, but it seems rather convenient.
You know well I don’t take kindly to double stanrdard. Pointing out glaring and very obvious double standards it’s not “demonizing”, it’s simply pointing out double standards.
What can I say, if you can’t stand the heat, then don’t rush into the kitchen my dude.
