You are both the same kind of elf, you realize that right? And the split between said “races” is so recent, it’s not even akin to night elves and nightborne. You have the same model with the exception that one group can be purple. This is not someone asking for Tauren horns on a Troll or Goblin. The literal racial leader for void elves is a blonde lmao.

I pointed this out, him and the Nightborne aren’t even trying to hide how immature they are while also trying to claim how much more mature they supposedly are.
There is no mature engagement with “I don’t want to share because I can’t enjoy things if other people are also enjoying them.” It’s the kind of thing that most people grow out of before they get unfettered access to the internet.

I get that. But this argument goes out the window when you consider things like transmogging. I’ll be real with you, I don’t care for the natural skin tones or hair colours on void elves because I grinded for one because I like the creepy purple aesthetic. I think High Elves are the most boring thing in existence. I am also not a fan of people asking for silhouette breaking things like unhunched backs for races like Tauren, Trolls and Orcs. But Blizzard already compromised prior, and I don’t really think it hurts anyone to offer more of a choice at this point.
I should add, that they can always revisit said hairstyles to make them fit each race. I’ve seen really nice edits of the void elf ones that substitute braids for the tentacles, and they can always add tentacles to the blood elf ones.
What fact is there beyond it’s the same hairstyle for two different races lol? It clearly can be done then.
Was added to both races at the same time, so neither of them has a claim to it as theirs or first, might want to actually try using something that has weight and can’t be shot down with fact.
I like how he ignores and glosses over the fact BEs have already shared more than enough, and the entire argument for hair colors while disregarding that as if it didn’t happen just reeks of “so what have you done for me TODAY?”
I dunno seems like convincing people that “sharing is good and other people being happy shouldn’t make you unhappy” is pretty important and not just for subjects like elf barbie dolls
I’m not gonna sit here and pretend that “I can’t be happy if other people can have blonde hair on their video game dolls” is some reasoned argument that should be indulged and neither should you.
It’s not for you to say “fine I’m still after all your stuff but I’ll share some of mine” it’s like “I know you’re mad I’m stealing your money but look here’s some Monopoly money how much do you want?”
No one here who opposes you getting more of what you want which does involve BEs losing more visual distinction, is now required to accept “here’s some alliance options” if visual distinction is the argument go ahead and keep those and we’ll keep our options as it pertains to Thalassian Elves thanks.
