I always used to hear too, that Void Elves would have been better received had they come from High Elves, and this was used as an argument as to why Void Elves were not acceptable. They now have customization to look like the Wayfarers barring the hair or including the hair who knows if that is exactly what Blizzard intends, but they also have the art directors comments on both sides getting High Elves. SO to me that whole song and dance about “well we would have liked VE’s if only they had come from HE’s” was a complete lie.

If you didn’t really want them so many of you wouldn’t be playing them so sorry but fail defense is fail.
There is no evidence that any of our little voices who objected to what high elf fans wanted was taken into any consideration by the devs. If it was they would never have given a blood elf look alike in void elves to the alliance, imo.
On this I will reserve my judgment when I actually see Nightborne get customizations past what they have because so far they haven’t and even in the customization when some allied races got earring, skintone, eye color, etc. options Nightborne got nothing so not going to hold my breath for the time being, I don’t want to die from lack of air.

its true though and not only were we swimming upstream against helfers who wanted nothing short of thalassian copy/paste, but against anti-helfers who didnt want us to have any form of helf, even if half elven.
so part of your vitriol needs to be pointed at the wall of anti-helf nopers. nope nope nope.

Well yeah because what they wanted and want is an exact copy of us with all of the customization options on to say Alliance and High Elf, it’s gross and it’s completely different than the BS they try to peddle about wanting it to be different, look different, etc. 
Hyper I’ve never seen Naughtymoon have any vitriol, just a very to the point way of talking. She’s a Blood Elf fan and is defending Blood Elves.

Stop playing them, stop wanting our customizations, stop expecting to get everything we have if you have such an issue with them, that’s what most people Horde side have done with Nightborne to show they dislike them.
Blizzard needs to update the options all of the Allied races have as soon as they have the time. Compared to the updated baseline races the Allied races fell behind and are too simple and boring.

To be fair I’m fine with things as is, but I was also always a BE fan first and just felt bad for people 
I do think the state of Blood Elf customization and core races combined with now a seemingly ungrateful and displaying the opposite of grace HE request does pose a threat to Blood Elf things so idk its hard for me to say where I stand here or there, all I can do now is defend Blood Elves because people I thought had no malice against them seem to.
The whole point of this thread is wanting Blood Elves customizations on Void Elves, don’t make me laugh at you more than I already am.

You are by far nicer than I am, I’m literally to the point they could take away Void Elves from Alliance and give them nothing in return and I wouldn’t feel sorry for them because I feel they would deserve it.

I try to be mindful of all sides, but I’m feeling very defensive of Blood Elves on all fronts lately. I was always against the HE fans who hated BE’s anyways and kept pushing for Quel’thalas but now I have to stand against continued customizations while BE customization suffers.
