You’re the leader of a faction part of the alliance and one simple general who doesn’t even have a seat at the table when making battle plans is going to dissuade you from being a part of said alliance? Thats like the leader of a country crying about some general and instead of speaking to a head of state, you just completely sever all ties with that country. Do you see how stupid this looks?
Gurl ≠ girl
And if I say something in my culture to another person in a conversation and you run up to me and say…
Hi im offended
You have made the choice to insert yourself into something that had nothing to do with you in the first place.
Being trans doesn’t give you the right to seek out self harm.
This should be the natural progression of the game if it wants to survive, eventually everyone that wants to experience the game will go to the faction with the most players, its happening exponentially with each released expansion. Horde majority in the west and alliance majority in the east. It only makes sense to do away with faction restrictions, not only from a lore perspective, but to even have that distinction.
Otherwise its just going to be a dominant faction with the other just there for pets/mount farming characters.
Really you are restarting this stuff again? Let it go it died out earlier because you stopped replying leave it that way.
The game has always been that way, yet I didn’t see people complaining about imbalance or dominant faction when it was Alliance only since it’s Horde now, so no just no.
Wrong, its never been to this extent, and you can clearly see it with all the information accessible. It was painfully clear during BfA, it would take alliance almost until the next raid before 100 guilds could down the mythic raid completely. More and more guilds are just straight transferring to Horde. Its never been this bad and its getting worse.
I have played both factions and the difference in the two is staggering.
Wrong is you trying to change the foundation in which WoW is built on, easier solution would be to remove the 100 guild requirement rather than removing the two factions, stop trying to dilute the game and the factions to fit your agenda.
I stop replying because I had things to do.
Meow im back!
Removing the requirement doesn’t fix the problem. And the foundation in with WoW was built is a fantasy rpg, which is derived mostly from the works of its predecessors, EQ, DnD, and Ultima to name a few. Faction restrictions don’t make sense in an rpg where your character is based off its choices. Now WoW isnt a traditionally rpg but even lore wise it doesnt make sense to keep going to the “faction war” and have these world ending events where you have to be buddy buddy to defeat it only to go back to fighting. It makes ZERO sense in any argument.
This doesn’t dilute the game in anyway and if anything would expand it because you have more people to interact with. You’re just limiting gameplay based on your limited understanding.
And that’s fine but without restarting the drama.
Hahahaha! Actually it does dilute the game because the whole foundation of WoW is Horde vs Alliance which is why we have two factions and yes the remove the 100 thing would solve the problem because then neither side would have to rely on the other side to keep up or be gated by the other sides inability to do so, everyone in this game plays the faction and race they want to because we all choose when we make characters so I’m going to call BS on you straight up.
And how does this choice matter in getting rid of the faction restriction? Do you even know what that would mean? Seems like you don’t. It just means you can group and raid with people from the opposing faction. It doesn’t take your identity away at all, it just opens up more opportunities.
And btw, a foundation implies that if it were taken away, it would crumble. Taking away the dead horse that is “Horde vs Alliance” would actually enrich the game in more ways than one.
To be fair I didn’t start no drama I just type the word gurl and some rando decided to equate that to me misgendering …them… even tho I wasn’t even speaking to them.
But anyways…
Void elf’s could use two natural colors
I’d go with black and a bleached out almost white blonde
Then I want sparkle abyss colored hair like the Skye of our home er rock
And as a personal fantasy of I’d love to see a group of void elf’s struggle with their control over the void and find inner peace in nature.
I could see them just creating a capital city in some dark woods where they would creepily float around in the darkness shining blue.
Probably not.
It’s less that though and more I would expect the void elves and high elves joining them to emulate her.
Also since velves can be hunters from the get go it’s reasonable to assume some may be former Farstriders.
You’re quite valid. I understand the reason behind keeping Farstrider to the belves.
I just in this case disagree. (honestly if Alleria didn’t literally have them I’d leave it to belves alone as well.)
Oh yeah totally. Different colors between sides would be a must I think.
Black would probably be the only color I’d see being both.
I’d agree with that.
It angers me greatly when I see helf pros arguing that they alone should have farstrider tattoos.
Belfs have the Farstriders. There is no getting away from that.
The only reason velfs have any call is Alleria herself.
(and some potential lore since both groups are very close.)
Yeah.
Especially if I’m already on the fence if whether or not my people even need them. Especially if it appears for all the world that after my people were destroyed by the same force that destroyed theirs, they used me for meat shields.
That you don’t understand why Garithos mattered in this is troubling.
Just give us blood elf hair colors. We are owed it. Wow should return to traditional fantasy race line up. Let us play what we want. Stop being selfish. If i want to be alliance blood elf just let me be what i want then it will be fair.
First these opportunities exist on both sides if people are willing to put in the time, effort and work because neither side has anything extra in end game that the other side doesn’t have as well.
Second not everyone wants to play with the opposite faction, I am one of those people, if I wanted to play with Alliance players I would main that side, I have alts that side but I don’t care enough for the community to play it seriously outside of just here and there and for the storyline, however it’s not really wise to drive away your playerbase by taking away the foundation in which the game is and has always been built on.
These two sentences contradict one another.
I don’t want to play with primitive beasts barking at each other in a desert. Blood elf should be alliance. It’s not one of those races. We are owed the belf hair colors. All of them. Same race.
On a game founded on horde vs. alliance? Yeah, no thanks. Only thing I’d accept even close is merc moding for it where you don’t know they’re part of the opposite faction. Anything else is just stupid.
First you aren’t owed anything and you don’t deserve anything.
Second Blood Elves are Horde and have been for 14 years, so cry about it all you want but you have your Alliance choice in the Kmart Void Elf, enjoy!
No you’re not.
You seem to have a disconnect here, people didn’t play this game because alliance vs horde was some driving factor. It was a new rpg and it was gorgeous. The alliance vs horde narrative has NEVER been a driving factor in any raid until mid to late pandaria. And then was a focus in BfA.
The difference being that there is less time and effort if you’re horde side because of the pool of players to choose from. It isn’t a matter of choice anymore for some. You go to where the population is, and the population under Horde swells every few months.
