People advocating for sharing options between Belves and Velves but then criticizing the same for Nelves and NB are definitely hypocrites.
They could argue that they don’t share the same theme, but then again neither did Velves and Belves and here we are.

It should be like the Night Elf beard and extend on the sides was what I thought. Which would require them doing more work on a core race of BE’s to give us those options of having the beards be a 3 choice options.

I still call BS when people say that they wouldn’t care if Horde/Horde players or Nightborne/Nightborne players got all the Night Elf customizations because it would take away the whole Night Elf identity and with all the crying Alliance players do anyway as it is that would be a whole new level of salt on the forums, in game, etc.
Yup, they’d demand that blood elves leave the horde and join the alliance, but purely re-name themselves high elves.

But let’s face it, Blizz is probably too scared to deal with the storm of tears that would ensue.
I’m not even asking for much… just a full beard.
(Yes, I’m legit salty about that.)
I think some would be legitimately ok with it, many really don’t care about the boundaries between the factions.
However, I also think that those are a small minority, the rest, the ones that don’t say anything whenever this is brought up (and I’m not checking around often to even see how often that happens), are sure to implode.

Some of them advocate for a dissolution of the factions and consider that a “instant HE win” which to me is like what happened to loving the Alliance and the Thalassians that never left it?
Or that awful idea of ‘neutral’ Blood Elves where there was concept art don’t of renaming the race Thalassian, and removing Blood Elf off the core creation screen for Horde, and having it be neutral like Pandaren… though that was before the new character race screen I’ve seen people push for that again only renaming both Elves “Thalassian”… which why do Blood Elves need to suffer to pander to people who have always hated Blood Elves? Leave Blood Elves alone.

They already demand that Blizzard do that anyway, take away factions or at least give them all of our customization options just because they don’t want to play Horde, it’s disgusting.
Oh of course, they’re slimy and slippery like eels. “Oh we don’t want blood elves, we want high elves” proceed to show art that’s literally blood elves with blue tattoos. “See? They’re different!”
Exactly. Besides anyone who knows lore knows that high elves left the alliance for a reason. They were constnatly misstreated, kicked out of their own homelands, told they couldn’t practice magic, forced into wars they didn’t want to be a part of and killed / tortured.
I honestly have always wished they gave Void Elves to Horde and Nightborne to Alliance, unfortunately that ship already sailed and sunk and although I hate to dilute factions even more than they already are, I really can’t help wanting Nightborne to get the same fair customization sharing treatment from Night Elves that Void Elves have got from Blood Elves.

I have supported them as Blood Elf fan, and I am happy for the ones who are content to be done stealing from BE’s as they can see no even exchange was had.
However
This is very much my stance now, in terms of core races and AR’s.
A true black hair color fits the Void theme too and I think ear sliders to adjust ears for Nightborne and Void Elves is a QOL thing that should be for all Elves, and would be a tool for people who wanted Half Elves on Alliance. But other than that I feel like people pushing for more customization over BE’s and core races, and specifically for more BE things when they can see no even exchange was had, is in very poor taste.
And I find somethings hypocritical like supporting model sharing but then turning around and trying to guard Farstrider tattoos.

Farstrider tattoos should be a Horde only customization option since Farstriders are Horde now.
Void Elves should have unique Void tattoos/scars, and we if anything could roleplay them as Farstrider ones.
I’m not sure why anyone would say Farstrider options should only be a velf thing and not a belf option ? That’s ridiculous. 
Seems like I’ve missed quite a lot during my absence.

The day that people aren’t hypocritical to the degree of if I benefit from it will be the day and in the case of things being taken or shared Alliance players, Void Elf players and High Elfer crowd are the biggest hypocrites ever, I’m not saying all of them but most of them really are and that’s why I tend to be against sharing anything past what has already been shared or taken from Blood Elves.

Farstrider Tattoos should be for both.
Arcane and Void Tattoos should be specific to each group.
Farstrider and Arcane for belf because as you say, Belfs have the actual farstriders and arcane is a big thing for them. (could also add some light based thing if you wanted to push the Sunwell being 50/50)
Farstrider and void for Velfs cause Alleria is literally where farstrider tattoo concepts more or less stems from (that and WCII Rangers) and Void cause… you know. Void.

I mean, don’t get me wrong - if velves are given those tattoos I’d be ecstatic, but lore should be respected as much as possible (which is why you won’t see me advocating for Velf Paladins, perhaps some sort of “Dark Paladin” class skin, but not the Holy version of it).
Anyway, if velves end up having farstrider tattoos, I think that’d be a clever way of differentiating them from their Horde counterpart (I imagine blue/purple for velves and red/gold for belves).
I’m fine with this, it’s the fact that if we were going to argue exclusivity of the Farstrider tattoos it would go to Horde as the case is better there.
The fact that I’m fine with them being for both to me is moot, since the people who are trying to guard them have been for model sharing and then suddenly stop when they think they have a case for a exclusive thing that pertains to Blood Elves main theme and Farstriders are a part of that main theme.
That’s how I see it.
Do Farstrider tattoos have to be exclusively blue? If not then just give Horde red, green and gold and Alliance purple and blue
