Didn’t see that at first. Yeah thats not reasonable. lol
MU Orcs really need Priest. Its ridiculous that they don’t have it.

Some don’t quite make sense.
Human Druid? Since when do Stormwind Humans practice druidism? That’d be more appropriate on Dwarves to further flesh out the Wildhammer addition. They also added Nightborne Druid, putting Alliance behind on Druid options again.
The worgen-like auto-transform in combat makes me feel like this is fake again. Too many requests on the forums these days are for Toggle options for stuff like that and Entropic Embrace. It would be extremely tone deaf of Blizzard to add another race with an uncontrollable aesthetic change. Players just don’t like that stuff.
Also… Dragonsworn’s melee DPS is based on BLUE Dragons? What?
No shaman.
Why not?
Some folk feel like the Void Elves would never be available for Shaman because the Void and the Elements have some history.
Theres… some debate there.
Well, they probably wouldn’t be welcome in the Earthen Ring.
Void Elf Druids could be interesting if it was a matter of studying the Nightmare and learning to harness its power to keep it in check. The Cenarion Circle might not be too thrilled about that, but even they should be begrudgingly grateful if it means the Nightmare won’t be a constant problem in the future.
Conversely, High Elf Shamans could make sense through their Wildhammer connections. There is the one lodge in the Hinterlands that gave up arcane magic entirely. They could even make for some fairly traditional Druids.
Either way, one can justify just about any class for any race these days. Blizzard may as well just drop the pretense and let all races be all classes.
It definitely could be a trap lol. But that Void Elf paladin with void effects thing stood out to me. Now I want it to be real .
There’s a lotta debate over the other three as well
I know they’re all unlikely but I can wish :')
Hey can we draenei get some of these void options for our shadowpriests? You know, the ones we entrust to dealing with our dead?
Lovely.
A Dark Blue and Light Silver one would be nice too.
(More colors for ALL heritage armor!)
I am not optimistic for any “leaK” but those are some neat ideas.
Not too sure one is needed TBH.
Basically just needs the Blood Color and Voice. Then it just needs -
Racial Name (Works for both)
Tattoos (Woks for both)
New Haircuts (Woks for both)
Entropic Embrace Customization (Woks for both)
And they can tie Blood and Voice with Racial Name. Which would be cool for all the other “Subraces” as well.
Classes could also be a “Woks for both” thing if it’s a Void-Palladin type deal.
IF Blizz is listening, should I start pushing my Customization Megathread again? Not sure if now is the time.
Almost all but two of those hair setups don’t (edit) look good enough on regular Void Elf skins because it clashes due the lack of color harmony (three color rule). They suit only High Elf skin tones, like you see them on the pictures.
Agreed, it will add so many cool things that way. Races that have next to no chance all of a sudden have a huge chance.
Druids of the Flame would be a cool Sub-Race for Night Elves for Example.
I’m definitely down for pink hair, Fiercelord did a great concept for it.
Ace also do a great version of Pink highlights along with some Pink Starcursed assets to match.
Ace also did a great red version of the concept that shows how neon red hair could look, along with red SC options and eyes to match.
Izzabelle was also kind enough to do up some great neon concepts too.
I’d also personally adore some lighter pastel colors as seen here;
These were done by Talendrion Iirc.
I saw the conversation above and figured I’d provide some of the splendid artwork that some of the artists amongst the WoW community offered that matched the themes and colors mentioned
Oh, if we get pink hair and a hair style like that, nobody would be hearing from me. I’ll be too busy sitting in GS Inn doing my own hair, keeping it from getting it dirty
Sorry for a double post, but also, I think Void Elves should also receive, along with the Blood Elves, but also, runic tattoos. If the Void Elves are former Blood and High Elves, then having more options also to tie back to there roots would be good. Both Void Looking and Non Void looking too
Nice! Proof that the hair looks great on both! We just have to get Blizz to make it happen!
They all look so gorgeous! We seriously need more pink in this game
Probably so… though it really depends.
I’m a fan of the Taunka so I’m not afraid to see Dark Shaman added in the right way. But Void Elves dont need to go that route if they were to somehow end up getting Shaman. It would be work and I would want there to be story, but they could gain the trust of the elements in some way.
I actually rather like this concept. Its more or less how I’d do it if I were to add Druid to them.
Actually that was one way I thought you could get Shaman to Void Elves.
A former Highvale Elf joins up and goes through whatever rituals or whatnot to become a full Void Elf. They’re a former shaman and manage to convince the elements to continue to work with them, going through some effort to prove that the Void Elves that entreat with the elements will never brooch that “force the elements” thing with the void.
I know its rough but I came up with it awhile ago. lol I’m actually a big fan of the Highvale Elves. My own High Elf is a Highvale High Elf.
Aye. I think they can do whatever they want with the right lore and concepts. They don’t need to be exactly the class either. Like Paladins for Void Elves don’t have to be “paladins” but rather just Riftblades that started using the void in far more capacity. Stuff like that.
I really like the Riftblades, which appear to just be warriors right now, and think that a group of them taking it a bit further is reasonable. The more I see class skin options and such concepts the more I really rather like it.
Also Blizz did say rather unexpectedly that they were considering it… more or less.
Oh yeah.
Nothing wrong with wanting one or the other. Its really fun to come up with ideas about how new classes could be added to any race.
Debate over it is just par the course.
I would LOVE to see options for the Soulbinders be more obvious. Not sure what you could take from Void Elves though to really get that across for them…
I’m hoping I might have something for that later. It was long ago requested and I asked Fiercelord if he might try his hand at it since hes already made those three above.
Normally I’d just ask Somand and Lancelot but… Lance just did some really amazing work for me which I hope to show off soon… but that is another topic.
Thats true.
I’ve still been keeping my eyes open for one that looks like its going to take off and really hold for awhile so I can update the High Elf thread in the Main Post since the old ones well… really old nowadays. (Probably for exactly the reasons you listed.)
Yeah I’ve become very convinced that best scenario would be a revamp of the character system one more time to have a Sub-race setup.
Its beneficial to so many races not just high and void elves. Wildhammer always comes to mind for me, but even neat things like adding the human nations to human or the orcish clans to the orcs properly.
I think it might be worth it. Theres some signs that they’ve been listening… but we have to remember that any change will take some time. Keeping what we want to see where they can’t forget it is, I think, a good thing. (Though we don’t need to go overboard either.)
Hmm… how many survived I wonder… wish Blizzard would make such things clearer sometimes.
I wouldn’t make one but it would be interesting to see a story where they’re reintegrated to the Night Elven forces.
Ah, I was musing the other day how to add those workups he did into the main post. His work is always very nice.
Added these to the main post just the other night! Very nice starry examples.
My favorites this one…

Somehow I didn’t already have these in my notes, and I’d thought I’d tracked down all of Izzabelle’s work. Very nice.
I might add that with Lancelots neon fade in the main post…
Love those hair colors. Thanks for bringing this one back up. I think I lost it when my notes got scrambled. I’ll get this one added a little later.
I know why Blizzard is wary of giving us hairstyles that long… but I wish they would.
Seriously haven’t found a single race I don’t like the pink hair color on honestly…
I’m a Horde main and I’d roll a Druid of the Flame in a Heartbeat. As for How, just say Tyrande (Or whoever is the leader while we were in the Death Dimension as Lelouche would call it.) wanted vengeance bad enough to offer them a Pardon in exchange for them rejoining them. On the Opposite end of the Spectrum, have them (And probably the Cenarion Circle in General.) offer them an Olive branch for by gones to be by gones, the Cenarion Circle also might offer the actual Druids a place in the order as I imagine their branch could be very beneficial in understanding the Elements, heck I could see the Earthen Ring offering them a place if they promised to be good. Like there’s actually ALOT of possibilities with them if the Writers just did something with them.
I’m excited.
Yeah, the hard parts are… done for the most part.
Blizzard is pushing the Subrace through Customizations now, so no one has the drive to try and get Allied Races anymore since they seemed to have ditched the concept.
Wildhammer and Sandfury and any potential Forest Trolls are definitely on my mind whenever I mention that concept.
Wildhammer were dun dirty IMO.
Human Nations would also be a plus. Though… How would you do Gilneas?
In an ideal system they would simplify Racials, combine Allied Races with Core Races, and allow you to pick which group you are apart of.
So things like Ironforge/Wildhammer/Darkiron would be one group and Void Elves/High Elves would be another ect.
TBH I’m not too anxious to dive back into it until we get some more solid announcements on the Races/Customizations aspect.
