Though I agree that they need separate threads now, as the original was an extension of the Blue Eye/Normal Skin swap, which has already been implemented, it would have been better to wait until the other thread capped or fell off the front page.

The plan is that it’s more focused on Void Elf customizations and for players who want void elf customizations.
The forums are overly hostile towards anybody making a request for Void Elves. At the very least, talk about other races customization options, allied or not, is off topic here.

I felt like the other thread was too hostile to Void Elf players.
People requesting Blood Elf customizations or Nightborne customizations can be referred to other threads.
I don’t disagree with you. But I honestly think that a lot of people that want Void Elf customizations have been bullied off of the forums by this point.

The entitlement of the high elf fanbase never ceases to astound.
Get entire blood elf race as customization and only allied race to get more customization than core races. Yet somehow its not enough, even more of pathetic considering customization was canceled yet here they are, still whining.

All I see is a player asking for more customization options on an allied race that got very little amount of customization options. and it got flagged, not surprising.
in leu of recent events, i’m coming to the understanding that it’s overall healthier to step away from the forums lest i type something i will end up regretting later.
i’ve been keeping an eye on the community reception and all i see is vitriol and hate. i don’t get it, but then again i don’t want to get it. worse yet, i can’t help but stand in awe at this flawless logic.
I mean, really now. This is the bar you want to set. When a void elf wanted more options you get this pedantic back and forth arguing over the semantics on whether or not it’s necessary. Here’s a radical thought, yes. I think it is necessary. In a role playing game. I get what you’re trying to say here, but I have to ask why are you arguing this point? what good does that serve? I think all races deserve more. Much, much more than what we got. So much more. Even the ones that got the most, need more. As do the ones that got absolutely nothing, like LF dranei and nightborne.
You’re arguing as to the meritocracy of whether blond hair should be race-locked. There’s a lot of things that should be race locked. War paint, sacred tattoo and scarification, ears obviously. Blond hair does not need to be race locked. You can dip yourself in blueberry jam, felfire peanut butter, or arcane ice cream. What difference does it make, really.

It’s the same topic in a new thread that was made for no reason outside that someone wanted to make a new thread under the context that they don’t want people to disagree with them.
Furthermore a lot of people feel Void Elves have gotten more than enough customizations vs other Allied Races and taken from Blood Elves when there are still super shafted Allied Races like Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren and Lightforged Draenei.
It’s not really hard to understand why people feel how they feel if you are as you say actually reading stuff and paying attention.

Guess what? You can already play as a high elf, just make one in the faction they’ve been available since BC, the Horde.

Good thing that Void elf customization request and request for other races to get more are mutually exclusive.
You don’t need to tell people they’re being selfish because Blizz didn’t give enough to other races, tell Blizz that and if more customization is released, it’ll be released for groups not one at a time.

You insinuation is that its unnecessary or selfish for people to be asking for Void Elf customization because others haven’t gotten enough.

It cost you and your ilk exactly $0 to ask for customization you wanna see and leave other people alone to ask for what they’d like, nah, instead you’re here sowing the discontent.
