How do you get rid of those annoying Vidious popups with audio that always show up? “You like loot, don’t you?”

Can’t really describe the popup other than it shows up constantly, I need to show it.
Also, this forum has a lot of issues. For instance, I can’t post a reply because it tells me error: I have to wait for others to participate - really? I can put links in and the screenshots but won’t let me actually post them because “You can’t post links”. About as useful as a jet without fuel.
I believe they are talking about the NPC Vidious who has some voice lines that repeat.
I don’t think there is anything that can be done about game sounds, unless they can find an addon to turn them off or mute them. I am guessing that the lines they don’t care for are part of a quest chain. Finishing it should top those specific lines I would think.
Found the quest giver, had a bit of trouble with the google foo pointing to '“videos”. Just happened to be in Slayer’s rise. So yes, it is part of a quest line finish it might help. I was just wondering if it it was the Talking Head pop up, or a loot toast.
It’s the Talking Head that announces when a War Mode Loot Crate is dropping.

This is to prevent the same user from double posting and potentially bumping a thread. You can however get around that a little if you are quoting other posts.
You need to be trust level 3 to post links. This is pretty strict as allowing anyone to post links and images would make for potentially LOTS of unpleasant moderation.
You can also get around the link issue by using ` on both sides of a link.
For anyone who doesn’t want another addon (edit - or if you actually want to know when loot crates drop) - if you dismiss it, it will not finish the audio. Which is only a slight reduction in annoyance, I know. Also, I believe by default that popup is in the middle of the screen, but in edit mode, you can move it so it’s less disruptive. I have it off to one side, so that it’s not blocking my view if I don’t bother to dismiss it.
