Veto by loudest whining

No

Name anything that you think is anything close to Covenants in terms of “impactful choice” in BC or Wrath, I’ll debunk it for you.

How dare you doubt the copper market.

Aldor & Scryers, choosing to pvp means investing in resilience gear, gems & pvp enchants. if you choose to raid, you’re not going to have a good time in arena until you earn the appropriate items.

All of these things are not close to Covenants, I don’t think I can portray how far apart these things are from each other in terms of impact tbh

Try again

Nothing about what Ion said implied they had Zero faith in the system. I think it’s going to work exactly the way think it will, if everyone has to make a hard choice, then you cant deny people on the basis of that decision. Just like you don’t take All Night Elf parties into mythics during casual play. It’s a choice that can’t be changed.

It’s a pretty easy choice.

Than you’re wrong. If you choose Aldor, you lose access to things that Scryers have. If you choose to pvp, you have access to gear that is strictly better in a pvp evironment over a raiding environment Try again.

You could switch, no one did because it was annoying. But the difference between aldor & scryers and covenants have multiple trees with three different sets within 4 different covenants is massive.

You talking about the old days? Or right now?

Good for you, the other 98% of people might think otherwise.

Ok but choosing the wrong one did not make you 40% weaker than the better option, unlike Covenants

You try again (but actually this time, please. Very curious to see an actual example)

If Blizzard had the technology they have now, I’m confident Aldor & Scryers wouldve been the way covenants are presented to us now.

Prove that covenants have that big of a gap. I’ll wait.

And it would have been horrible then. Just like its horrible now.

I disagree that it’s horrible, I think it’s going to be great. Forums have a complaint bias. Your position is not as popular as you think it is. Time will prove me right, just as it proved me right being against LFD after so many people have seen how it eroded community.

need a crying towel?

No problem

Look at any mistweaver logs on beta

Kyrian -> does 50% of their output
Anything that isn’t Kyrian -> does 2% of their output (or less, lol)

Many other specs have drastic differences similar to this. Necrolord could literally be twice as good as any other covenants if the situation allows it.

I was against LFD but with the advent of mythic+ dungeons are worthless now anyway. Also times not going to prove you right because there is no way this is going live.
