Hey gang, thanks for taking time to read this. Quick bit of history about me (or as quick as I can make it):
Been playing since the days of late vanilla and early TBC. Played both factions but always been dedicated to the Horde in my heart. Raided on and off between expansions and even saw some Mythic prog back in WoD.
Got into the game through my love of WC3, which was responsible for the formation of my creative drive as a writer and enjoyer of stuff like the RP scene. Regardless of the game meta or the content available, WoW’s world setting is what really kept me coming back.
In more recent years I’ve felt pretty bummed out by the main narrative, especially as someone whose favorite characters in the narrative were Vol’jin, Sylvanas, and Thrall. Midnight has felt like a breaking point where I just genuinely can’t be arsed to care about any of the characters Blizz is putting in the spotlight, to the point where it makes me not want to play anymore.
I’ve no idea if I’ll ever be the dedicated endgame PVE enjoyer that I used to be, but I’m hoping that maybe I’ll be able to find an RP guild dedicated to the old values and vibes of the Horde, from the pre-Legion/BFA era. Currently, I’m in the process of building up my not-a-Haranir character, who is the mixed blood daughter of an orc shaman and a kal’dorei druid, and I’d really like to grow her alongside other writers and lovers of WoW’s setting.

If you want to throw out an ad for your own guild, or just point me in the direction of one that you know of and can recommend, I’d be incredibly grateful. I’m very much NOT part of the “grrr pronouns and housing and DEI ruined my game!!!” crowd and just feel like WoW needs to regain some of its edges in order to shine once more. A guild that’s accepting of the LGBT+ crowd is very important to me.
Thanks again for reading all this, and LOK’TAR OGAR!
