Verification Emails not sending with microsoft

So I’ve been trying to add a mobile authenticator for almost a week now, going back and forth with technical support.

After being told that the verification emails don’t send if you have a Hotmail or outlook account, I have to ask why that is? During this time, I received several marketing emails for the expansion and the sub mount to my Hotmail account NO problem.

I was able to add the authenticator by switching the email address on my profile to the gmail account that I only use for the play store on my phone to get the code and set it up. However, I can no longer verify my Hotmail account after switching it back (which has been in place since 2006 as my primary account) since verification emails do not go through.

Why do you not want players to use Hotmail/outlook?
