Velen needs to Die

IMO, It’s not really a Velen problem. It’s a Blizzard focusing only on Humans 75% of the time problem. Draenei are my favorite race too.

As a Draenei I used to love his character, but over the years he has started to have the same problem as Sylvanas Windrunner did for the Forsaken: all the lore and development seemed to only go to him while the few nameable Draenei lore characters like Maraad were gradually killed off and never replaced.

Well… if Velen goes full out Light Crusade and forcefully transforming people… it is time to kill him.

If he rejects it, don’t need to kill him.

Weird take. We literally have no idea what Velen has been up to. We had two expacs in a row , WoD and Legion, where Velen (who hadn’t been used much since BC) was suddenly super relevant. So he had those two expacs (although technically WoD was his AU countetpart) and he hasn’t shown up in BfA.

I don’t see any point in wasting a good character with 12+ years of history in WoW. At this point he led the charge and successfully defeated the legion. He deserves a nice long vacation. Maybe Rommui could step up a bit or the Lightforged.
