Again, no is arguing that a certain tank wont be the best. We are arguing that the disparity now is too large compared to other seasons.

Even DHs were saying double sigil was going to be broken back on the season 3 PTR.

Sometimes even when classes are OP they are not fun to play. Some people enjoy playing certain classes. The tank balance is crap right now. The difference in utility is absurd.

To learn to play every class just because Blizzard is horrible at balance sounds not very fun.

Vdh being the best isn’t necessarily the problem, we’ve had metas where one tank shines above the rest even in multiple aspects at the same time. The problem is the amount of control currently afforded to demon Hunter is something no spec in the game should EVER have access to, and it has utterly warped the dynamics of mythic+ in a way no other spec can even begin to attempt or replicate.

VDH does not need an aoe stun, two aoe fears, two aoe silences, and two aoe grips. Everyone and their mother, including top DHs said this when they added the extra charges on sigils in S3 PTR.

You fail to understand that the 1% does reflect into the other 99%. Season 1 of Shadowlands if you weren’t a VDH you were likely to not get into 15+ keys.

All tanks could do it, but VDHs were so better that it was worth waiting and hey, most tanks end up rolling VDH so you were pigeonholed into playing VDH if you wanted to play optimally.

I don’t believe in 100% balance across all tanks / healers / DPS but we need a delta that do not cause or dictate a META over everyone else. VDHs were BROKEN and they are BROKEN again.

“Hey, just play Vengeance!” and “Hey, we would prefer if you didn’t play Demonology.” are both fine, amirite?

Yah bro just learn other specs and classes you don’t enjoy so you can avoid waiting 3 hours in LFG to get an invite. Everything is fine.

Watched a couple very high end DHs and they both said they can’t believe it hasn’t been nerfed yet.

They need to boost all tanks so they can almost solo keys so people would play them more , and that would fix queue times , toxicity and life would be much better

So what? Remove all cc from DPS, give tanks enough aoe stops to facilitate any pull, and just remove coordination as an element of gameplay entirely?

Some ideas:

-Guardian’s issue is numerical, afaik?
-Paladins are fine
-Brewmaster: give them dave by default and let them talent into the old ox statue party bubble, just don’t make it broken like it was in MoP
-Prot Warrior: gag order for days
-DK: I dunno, baseline consumption? (oh it’s not consumption, whatever gave the party leech when you used consumption)

I do agree that VDH is very overtuned. One of the tankiest tanks, and has at least 5 times more control over packs than any other tank. It feels baffling that blizzard hasnt touched VDH at all, really something i cant find any reasoning behind at all. VDH is extremely overpowered at the moment and most high level players agree with it.

Im not a high key pusher, i usually just go for 20s (10s in this season) and i am done with it. But the easiness that VDH has to just steamroll through massive pack pulls is something that has to be adressed. They have more control than the entire rest of the group, all in one single character. That is why the meta comp atm has less control and more damage throughput, because most of the control can be left to the tank. Is this bad? IDK, but at least give a part of this control to other tanks. Let us monks have some sort of grip or displacement better than ring of peace. Maybe give it some sort of vacuum effect, idk. Im not the one to come up with ideas, but either nerf VDH or buff other tanks

Tanking in general seems stupid now. They can multipull, self heal, and burn the mobs down by themselves.

I am just tired of them releasing stuff without fixing the already active stuff then having a game so full of bad stuff not working. It is frustrating as hell.

This just simply isn’t an issue at the key levels you are playing, myself included. If you or me are getting declined it’s because of our score, item level, or both.

I sympathize with this, but the only people affected by this class issue are people doing title level keys, and title level key players could care less about the race of their character
