Vanilla player on classic's biggest issue

OP, I’m rolling Tauren Warrior, on whatever PvP server is in PST. Come on over and I’ll take care of you.

Sister, I love you Forsakenness, BUT! No, just no…

I lived thru it and for me that was one thing that made us who we are. (Horde)
And I was a total noob first toon Forsaken warrior (because Zombie) and suicide spec…

Retail is that way ->

If they were going to class swap, there would be little reason to even host classic as opposed to skipping over to burning crusade. But if that’s what you want to do… then wait for burning crusade. No one ever said this was going to be the end. It’s just the beginning. They will obviously move on to expansions after this is played out in the next 1-2 years. Crusade/Wrath were even more popular, and regarded as the best versions, so it’d be quite dumb not to.

Eh, I dont want a re-do of their crappy progression into the diseased filth that is BFA.

You sound like an entitled ahole. I really hope you don’t play Classic. The people i met in the Classic beta were friendly. You aren’t. Unplayable expansions? Hahahahahaha, you are hilarious. Go polish your epeen, dude.

And u did because u said so.

Do u mean u were friendless in a mmo?

Not sure why u decided to make this :poop: stain of a thread.

@Finraziell,

Unfortunately your suggestion wouldn’t fix anything. Pally’s were not true tanks until later expansions.

Plus I think why the great majority of us are coming back to Classic is for the flavor and variety. In fact things being non balanced is what made it fun and interesting. I personally think part of the issue with the game was when everyone had everything. When they tried to balance it out too much.

What made classic wow fun was that we didn’t try to find balance, we overcame our weaknesses on each side and had fun. Lets make a mess of things again in classic and have fun. Looking forward to some south shore rumbles.

[quote=“Finraziell-wyrmrest-accord, post:3, topic:220715, full:true”] But I guess the lv 20 human with 120 achievement points put me in MY place :rofl::joy:

Nothing about the character of the person making the argument changes the validity of the argument. That’s why arguments ad hominem (against the person) are considered fallacious.

Just that it was a level 20 human with 120 achievement points arguing that dwarf shamans and tauren paladins don’t belong in Vanilla WoW doesn’t mean that argument is less valid.

I agree with him, and I’m not a level 20 human with 120 achievement points. (It should be pretty clear at this point exactly why arguments ad hominem are logical fallacies.)

Having 2 classes be faction-exclusive was a great part of the game. Getting rid of that was the first step in the homogenization that has made everything meaningless in retail.

Paladins and Shamans never should have been moved to both factions.

Their differences are what created what I felt was the most balanced PVP scene in the game, ever. The sides felt unique and utilized different strategies because the two classes enabled different ways of thinking and succeeding.

To me, Burning Crusade was the beginning of the end for PVP in WoW.

The argument to have both classes on both factions is ridiculous. Also saying Horde racials are better is ridiculous. Stone skin warr is one of the best warrs. Reputation for Humans is no joke. I played both sides and know them better than most. For BWL the alliance has a massive advantage, where in Ony the horde really shines. To say that we need pally tanks on horde side is laughable at best. Tauren tanks are a strong leveling tank and were often the most commonly played among the warrior class. Druid tank-? You gotta be kidding me. Sure, they do well in leveling but a druid won’t fare well in onyxia or blackwing lair. Warrs are well rewarded for being tank; they have a ton of weapons and legendaries are always handed to the MT first. Hand of Rag will perhaps go to a shaman or pally, but usually on first pull it’s the warriors who get them. In most of my guilds we had too many warriors, some raids we had upto nine warriors of different specs, all were useful. People will play them. Most had children and jobs. It’s not a ‘no lifer’ thing to be a warrior. You must think it’s high warlord. Not sure what server you are from but there was never a shortage of warriors/tanks on Blackrock. Both Horde and Alliance. -To bring shams and pally into the opposing faction would be silly. You are clearly a BC roller and merely pretend to have played vanilla, sorry mate.

This statement is entirely disconnected from reality.

Blizzard have been missing the mark 19 times out of 20. But in that part they hit it

The only problem that keeps popping up for me is: Time spent standing around in ORG looking for a group and time spent in a dungeon.

I’m glad LFG/R exist, because then I can actually go into a dungeon in a timely fashion and get something done. Even if the queue is long, I’m not trapped in a city in trade chat looking for a group, I’m out doing something to progress.

$15 a month for a chat simulator is not what I want in Classic.

/wave nice handle!

They have taken them to court just not recently. The real issue right now would be proving they make money off of them. Most of them do make money they just use back channel means to do so.

Of course I am playing Classic been waiting years to play a real World of Warcraft game again. The recent expansions can’t even be qualified as WoW they are an embarrassment to MMORPGs and what this company used to do. They used to make great games. Yes retail is unplayable. It was an unfinished dumpster fire on release and the Devs should be ashamed about BFA. You couldn’t pay me too play it.

Just because the garbage that is retail is unplayble for me,my friends, and millions of other players that love MMO’s does it makes us Aholes? :rofl: You sound sensitive and toxic with your opinions. If you love retail then play that but let us enjoy the real World of Warcraft game which will be Classic.

Not sure why your feathers are so easily ruffled from a discussion, relax and discuss things like an adult.

thats cute. you actually played vanilla and think paladins can tank anything but 5 mans.

or am i putting words in your mouth?
