A Test of Valor got reduced in mop. When are they going to hot fix people already done 1600 valor this week. I did it on my dk. Hope you fix this and I get the credit for it.

Its probably over than. Without this gem in my raid lock out this week the entire point of playing the game rots away. I had terrible nightmares last night over it. Dead realities were calling me in the morning to remind me that without that gem my path to the after life was cancelled. Over all it was one of those days you know.. if it wasn’t for this ice cold cocacola I had in the fridge this morning I probably would have re-entered the upset cycle.

I did this, too. I didn’t go to full cap for this week, because I still had some valor before reset. But I did earn a few hundred. Anyone who was capped before patch that did a single daily quest after is still stuck out this week. Kinda sucks, but I guess it is what it is.
Its very odd to me that they’d make it so ONE specific way of retrieving VP would block you from completing the quest when the aim of the reduction was to clearly allow you to finish it within a week. Even doing one daily quest locks you out of the weekly if you did it before you got the quest to obtain valor.
I’m one of the guys here that also just capped valor thru doing stuff throughout the week and being almost “punished” (i dont wnna use that word since it makes it seem like a disciplinary action but) because they made it so “hey august stone to valor doesnt count btw” is kinda silly in my opinion. Might as well change it in a hotfix or something from the amount of people who are having this issue, or atleast I think so.
Yep that’s what happened to me, did my tillers daily’s, 25 valor i believe from the 5 quests then went into the quest line, now I’m going to end up at 1575/1600 
oh well.

Hotfix didn’t go live for AU realms.
I’ve earned over 1800 from celestial dungeons. Not including any converted from stones.
Quest hasn’t completed.

Earned over 1800 VP and it still hasn’t triggered quest completion. This is just from doing celestials not converting tokens.

If you’re in the middle of the quest and server transfer like many of us will be doing this week, will it wipe the progress you’ve made so far if you haven’t finished?
Farmed 1600 valor without using any tokens for conversion 100% gained from celestials and no quest completion. nice. didn’t transfer either

Did the celestial daily that gives 150 valor and it didn’t count so now i’m 150 valor behind.

Earned 2k Valor yesterday now the quest says 0/1600 Very cool!

I’m in the same boat. I put in a ticket and they responded with:
There has been a hotfix to this quest that means that only 1600 Valor must be earned, not 3000. However the quest text in-game will still show the 3,000 required Valor, as will the achievement. Those values will be updated in a future update to the game client.
One thing to note though is not all Valor gained is counted for this quest. Any currency conversions are not included in the requirement.

Credit for the quest or achievement cannot manually be granted or adjusted by Customer Support and must be earned through play.

Except I don’t understand so I don’t know why they are thanking me. I did 100% of my valor through celestials and the quest achievement is showing 0/1600 and I am valor capped for the week.

Just another one of those unclear quests. I dropped the quest after earning 1600 valor through celestials, thinking it was bugged because I couldn’t turn it in. Now I’m finding out that I’ll have to earn another 1600 because it’s at the time of accepting the quest.

I did 17 celestials AFTER accepting this quest. I was 0/1600 for the week BEFORE accepting this quest. Quest achievement says that i am 0/1600 after doing said 17 celestials. what more play do I need to do to earn this??? You saying it’s going to be different next week?

Got screwed as well because I did the celestial dailies. Didn’t count towards quest. So lame
