Open up WoW and you’ll see it listed there; offline of course. Never seen this server before. Thoughts?

Who knows.
Could just be a mistake that wasn’t supposed to be there. Could be setting up to allow Doomhowl to progress to TBC, but giving them an era realm to transfer/copy to if they want to stay in Vanilla. Could be a fresh server. Could be that they are planning to merge the two era servers together or merge both of them plus Doomhowl and want a new server to facilitate all of that.
I hope it’s the last option. Would definitely give everyone more people to play with and might even convince some people that abandoned the original HC servers due to low pop to come back.

My money is on HC super-server merge similar to mop and pagle.

@blizz why no updates on this?
I wish we could get some sorta heads up, I just started a fresh toon on doomhowl but would rather wait until the new server if its just going to pull everyone too it again. Ideally its a merge but we need to know! Merge would be great, have ladder and non-ladder, all servers merge into non-ladder and fresh ones eventually move there too.
Server was actually online for about 5 mins and managed to snag some names lol, as far as I know no one was actually able to log into the server
Server should be wiped from all names.

I do think this could be a hail mary “all HC realms will be merged into Vagash, existing realms will be Locked” play

the only thing we can know for sure is that there won’t be a blue post explaining it since blizzard doesn’t talk to us anymore.

I vote for the all in one server named Vagash. That would be wise.

Nah, we need connected servers so people can have their names. Names are important in a rpg. A all in one server would suck. I would quit playing if i could not find a name i like.
