Welcome to Educated—an ambitious guild determined to carve out our place in the world. Founded by veterans who know the challenges of building and maintaining a successful guild, we understand the trials that come with starting fresh. But we’re not just here to survive; we’re here to thrive.
We’re all about growth—not just in numbers, but in strength, skill, and camaraderie. We know the road ahead will have its challenges. But with dedication, perseverance, and a shared vision, we believe we can overcome obstacles and achieve something great.
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to the game, if you’re looking for a community that values resilience, teamwork, and camaraderie, you’ve found your home with us.
We believe that a guild is only as strong as the attitudes and understanding of its members. We embrace the diverse backgrounds and experiences that each person brings to the table.
In today’s hectic world, it’s refreshing to have a place where you can leave your worries behind for a moment. Here, we strive to foster a peaceful and fun environment, which is essential for our guild’s success. With 98% of our members over 30, juggling work and family, we understand that life happens, and we’re here to support each other every step of the way while also giving the same respect and commitment to the the raid group you belong in.
Why the name Educated?
It takes a special person to navigate a heated political disagreement or calmly defuse a tense situation while staying composed. Someone who can really listen, process what’s being said, and respond thoughtfully in the moment—without letting emotions get the better of them. It’s not just about self-control, but also having the wisdom to pause, choose the right words, and avoid saying something they’ll regret. True discipline is about knowing where to draw the line and not letting outside frustrations bleed into spaces they don’t belong.
It also takes time, patience, and a strong sense of values to help someone who’s learning their class. A person like that offers guidance without judgment or mocking, recognizing that everyone grows at their own pace. It also means being able to take constructive criticism without taking it personally—it’s all part of improving. That’s what it means to be “Educated.” It’s more than just what people imply the name means. it’s about understanding and respecting different paths of growth. Unfortunately, a lot of guilds and much of the WoW community forget that, and it leads to a toxic atmosphere. But we aim to be different.
Our Raid Groups
Our Weekday Group meets on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 PM to 10 PM EST, while the Weekend Group comes together on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 PM to 11 PM EST.
Raiders Expectations
As part of any raid team within Educated, we expect everyone to consistently work on improving their gear score and to attend raids regularly. We’re here to help, but it’s also important for each raider to take initiative when possible—whether that’s pushing your own keys or working on gear upgrades independently. Your personal effort plays a big role in our collective success. Delves can be great for leveling, but as you start pushing higher keys, they become less efficient for gearing up. When you’re ready to push harder, focusing on keys will give you much better rewards and help you progress faster. We fully understand that life can get busy, and we always prioritize the well-being of our members. While we want to see you pushing to improve, we’re also mindful of real-life commitments. Just remember, staying engaged and making that effort, even in small ways, really helps the team thrive.
We welcome all social members, m+ runners, pvpers, and raiders!
Our current need is a good melee dps (Pref: Rogue, monk, or druid) and 2 RDP that can pump (hunter, mage, or warlock)
