I bought and used a faction change yesterday, 3/21/26. It went through fine, but the character name now shows as Unknown. I have tried logging out completely and restarting Battle.net, but it is still Unknown. I am just wondering how I might get it fixed. Any help would be appreciated.
Did you happen to get a new name, and did you try a UI reset?
Where is it showing as unknown, on your character sheet, or communities UI?
I wonder if the next Tuesday restarts might fix this, as far as a character database error.
It shows unknown above the character and on the character sheet. I had kept the same name when changing factions. No, I haven’t tried a UI reset.
Having the same issue. Name shows correct in frame but any chat dialogue, npc’s will refer to my character as “Unknown”
Do others see you as Unknown, Aelle?
