Use by item id instead of name in macro?

I tried this as Im seeing in a google search

/use item:143029

…but it does nothing.
Is there something that does work to use the item (mage food, for example) by item id number instead of the name?

thx…that is a huge part of the problem…apparently wowhead is showing the wrong Id or something
