About Us:
Mercurial is a CE focused guild on Thrall seeking to create the most rewarding raiding environment possible every single week. Our players mostly consist of ex-hardcore players who don’t have as much time to play as they used to. We firmly believe that raiding on a casual schedule can be well organized, team-centric, and still remain highly competitive while achieving CE on a 1-night schedule. We aim to always keep the vibe fun, respectful, and courteous, while achieving our goals on a smooth pace.
We are an LGBTQ+ friendly group who have been together since season 3 of Shadowlands and are always looking forward to meeting new people!

Recruitment Needs & Philosophies:
We have a core group established and are looking for more skilled dps specialists to round out the roster.
Progressing on a 1-night schedule is often simultaneously a very fast, and very slow prog cycle. Since we raid only 3 hours weekly, it is critical that our mythic team players are as prepared as possible for each raid night, being able to play their class at a high level while learning encounters in a fraction of the time spent in combat compared to other guilds. Additionally, since we only raid 3 hours weekly, a boss we can kill in, for example, 12 hours will take us 4 weeks instead of the 2 weeks a 2-night guild might take, assuming a similar pace of progress. For this reason, our recruiting decisions are often biased in favour of players who do not historically quit mid-patch and are likely to stay engaged with raiding for a full season.
Top Priority
- Strong, experienced Mages or Rogues of any spec
We typically run a small bench to account for IRL conflicts, and we are always interested in having exceptional players of any role to come join us!
Raid Expectations:

Mythic raiders must do everything in their power to prepare their character(s) for raid, including keeping up with the gearing curve through keys/crafting, capping weekly crests, and maintaining raid reputation for %buffs in later weeks as their available time allows. Obviously real life happens, time can be limited, and we understand, but the better prepared we are, the faster our prog will be.

Heroic Team Raid Night Times
Thursday: 9pm - 11pm EST; invites 8:45pm
- Open to everybody in the community at any skill or experience level who wants to have a great time raiding and clearing bosses!
- Recommended ilvl 690+
- LF dps players of all specs & classes, especially with tank or healer offspecs
Mythic+ Keys:
- Open to all players of any spec or class looking to push high keys 3k+
We also have dedicated members of the guild who will help as many people as possible get their keys done for the week. If you love pushing keys/score and are looking to find a new push group, then tag the keys channel in discord and let’s get a run in!
